The Janome Horizon Memory Craft 12000 is the next new addition in the line of the well know Memory Craft range. The Janome Horizon Memory Craft 12000 combines sewing and embroidery all in one machine. From first viewing this machine the first thing I noticed was how much light that this machine gives out the Janome Horizon Memory Craft 12000 has a large selection of 10 built-in LEDs lights located in 5 locations. There is also a pull out light called the Retractable High Light™ which is able to be tilted onto your work area. The lights have been combined in sections which can be turned on or off individually depending on your preference.

The lights on the Janome Horizon Memory Craft 12000 really show off the 15" stainless steel plate along the long sewing arm that measures an impressive 280mm (11") long to the right of the needle ideal for large quilts, bridal dresses and for those bigger home furnishing projects.

When sewing, the Janome Horizon Memory Craft 12000 machine has an impressive sewing speed of up to 1000 spm. Janome have overloaded this machine with many great new features including 9mm width of stitch, 91 needle positions, Detachable AcuFeed Flex™ Layered Fabric Feeding System, Adjustable AcuView Magnifier™, Variable Zigzag via the knee lifter, Auto presser foot lift and just to top it all off Janome have also created the Amazing Stitch Composer™ that allows you to create original stitches from scratch using your pc or take existing stitches and alter them needle-drop by drop. When it comes to embroidery Janome have created a new Sleek Linear Motion Embroidery System™ that is a sleek detachable embroidery unit that attaches to the back of the machine which when opened provides a massive embroidery area. This detachable embroidery unit allows you to use frames of up to the largest of the Janome hoops available for this machine of 230mm x 300mm. Janome have also added Real-time PC connection with Horizon Link™ the touch screen is certainly large enough to do on screen editing.
