Janome Jem Platinum JP7605
Small but mighty is my Janome Platinum 760. I really love this little machine. After not sewing for many years, I decided to start with a machine that had some computerized features but was not too complicated. It needed to be portable as well since I planned to take it to classes. After three years of using this machine for all types of sewing (bags, small quilts, clothing), I must say it was worth every penny. Included in the price of the machine was the extension table and a quilting kit (walking foot, 1/4\" foot, etc). If you are an experience sewer and just need a machine for classes, the Janome 760 is great because it has some of the features found on larger machines (start/stop button, needle up/down, 60 stitches). If your a beginner, it is a fun machine to learn on. After 3 years, I decided to upgrade and purchased a Janome 6600p but I am keeping my 760 for classes and for when I need a freearm (not available on the 6600p).
