Description of Janome 1550
The Janome 1550 sewing machine is easy to thread and operate, this machine is ideal for occasional use and would suit all sewers.
The Janome 1550 is the first of 4 models in this series, made to the same standards as the more expensive machines in the 1500 series it has 4 stitches and an automatic 4 step buttonhole which is ideal for the occasional sewer.
The hidden tension dial is right at your fingertips. Remove the extension table and you have a free arm for sewing hard-to-reach areas. Retract the spool pins for safe storage, and easily reverse your stitch with the push of a button.
The Janome 1550 also offers optional snap-on feet, a one-hand thread cutter, and the reliable front-loading oscillating hook system.
