Included with the Janome DC4100 Free Sewing Feet Gift worth £58, The Janome DC 4100 sewing machine gives you computerised Janome sewing with 225 pre-programmed stitches, including 5 different fully automatic buttonholes. The LCD display makes it easy to see which stitch you've chosen as well as the width and length, which are fully adjustable. A jam-proof, magnetic, top-loading, full rotary hook system eliminates the need for a removable bobbin case. The hook cover plate opens at the touch of a button, and the extra needle penetration power of the Janome DC 4100 lets you sew across fabric of any thickness. The extension table also detaches for free-arm sewing. The Janome DC 4100 also features a seven piece feed dog, a drop feed facility, automatic needle threader, a slide speed control and comes complete with a hard cover.

Angus County Durham 15.06.11I bought this machine about 18 months ago and I think it is really lovely - it has loads of stitches. I have to confess that I have not used it very much - having bought a Janome embroidery machine as well. My aim for 2011 is to get to know my sewing machine really well - try out all the stitches and the feet etc. I have a 30 year old Janome which I use out of laziness. I don`t think you will be disappointed with the 4100.

Sarah Somerset 14.07.11Firstly I'd like to say that the service was brilliant - now to the machine, it feels solid, and you can tell that it is good quality by listening to it whilst running - the fancy stiches are beautiful and simple to use. My only criticism would be that the touch screen is not particularly sensitive, and sometimes is quite tricky to use especially if entering a string of letters to be stiched. But overall, a very good buy.
Mojo East Kilbride 25.11.11I'd originally ordered the TXL607 which unfortunately was out of stock. Billy from G.U.R. phoned and offered the DC4100 as an alternative and I must say it was the best thing I ever did accepting this. It's a dream to use and easy to get to grips with. The fancy stiches are beautiful and I've already "embroidered" the bottom of a few pair of trousers. Service was fast and machine delivered when specified. Again special thanks to Billy for sorting out the courier problems I had.
