Included with the Janome Memory Craft 4900QC Free Extension Table, With the Janome Memory craft 4900QC it's the easy way to get creative. It has the computerized precision of a Memory Craft and the advanced features that make sewing and quilting time much more productive. The Janome 4900QC has a huge library of stitches, powerful sewing speed, and super variety of customizing options, it's hard to know where to look first. But a good place to start is the large, backlit display. Here you can select from the 443 built-in stitches across four modes and easily create custom combinations of up to 50 stitches each to save in one of five memory banks. A knee lift allows you to raise the presser foot while keeping your hands on your work. And the Start/Stop button means you can sew without using the foot control. On big projects this is much more relaxing.

Marianne Bristol 17.09.10This is a brillant machine. I was going to buy 4100 but so pleased I paid the extra, this really is a machine I can grow with. The feet are really easy to change, threading is simple and quick. I find the screen is really useful and it's so easy to create a row of different stitches. I find it very helpful that the machine suggests the best foot to use and tension. I've already purchased some special feet and they were much cheaper than other brands. Great for dressmaking, I've just started to add the special stitches to dresses with brillant results. As another review mentioned there a a good selection of heirloom stitches which is something I would love to be able use in my dressmaking. I'm moving on to quilting which is completly new to me and this machine seems to be able to do everything I need. The only thing I would say is don't buy tyhis machine if you are paying the extra for the letter stictches as they are handy to have but not great, I have used them to label childrens school clothes but nothing more.
D. Saunders South West 10.02.11Really very pleased with this machine! It sits solidly on my worktop and is well constructed - it's in quite a different league from my rather basic Brother. I spent a tentative hour working out how to thread it and getting used to all the locations for things (ie the 10 feet that come as standard) and within 2 hours girl and machine were working in perfect harmony! I found it very easy to navigate my way around the functions and even managed some fancy stitching. The machine is blissfully quiet and I love the way the presser foot causes your needle to glide gently into action. The abililty to fix the needle either up or down made sewing curves much easier than I am used to. The whole machine feels as if it has been designed by people who really understand what a sewer needs. The service from GUR was excellent with a timed delivery service and prior notification by phone and text. The additional free gift of the quilters set was the icing on the cake for me since this was the reason for upgrading to a new machine. Altogether, it's a fab machine with great service and one happy customer :)

I am very glad I choose this one I am a mad keen quilter as well as a dress maker and this machine seems to cover everything with ease. I sew most days so it gets plenty of use, after 16 months of hard work it's showing no signs of slowing down. wonderful machine love it to bits.
