Description of Janome Narrow Tape Binder 795 838 103
Use the Tape Binder to insert bias tape for accenting projects. The bias is folded and held in place by the guide. Butt the fabric against the edge of the bias tape from the left side to attach. You can also use this foot to cover fabric on piping. Janome Wide Attachment for Bais Tape Binding.

Alexander Holland 12.06.09Very content with the tape binder +presser foot +face plate ("steekplaat" for the dutch)! the foot is shorter then the standard foot, this prevents the fabric to slip from right to left. The binder is high quality, no iron and does not bend, no sharp edges that damage the fabric. The face plate is a "swing" plate so you do not have to unscrew but just "swing" the plate aside when you want to do normal stitching. You can use other binders on this plate too, as long as they are not too long, otherwise bend the binder or just use one screw. Because Janome only has 2 sizes binders, I have to use binders made by other manufacturers (industrial ones).
