Description of Pfaff Knit Edge Foot (820790-096)
With the Pfaff Knit edge foot you can use an overlock stitch pattern appropiate to your fabric. The front of the Knit-edge Foot has sides of different heights, making it simple to sew thick seams on knits and fur. For a perfect seam on knit fabrics (e.g shoulder seams), sew over a cord or ribbon, pulled slightly taut into the seam. This will give the seam additional strength and keep it from stretching out of shape. For a perfect seam on bias pieces, add a yarn with slight tension and overlock it a the same time. You can simultaneously stitch and finish heavy knit fabrics or imitation furs with this foot.
