I also get an enormous thrill and sense of self worth in seeing my baby blankets in use by those I have gifted them to.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n This self binding baby receiving blanket is made with 100 % balloon cotton fabric on the outside and the inside consists of a lovely warm, cosy and cuddly fleece. It was produced with a Brother sewing and embroidery machine<\/a>.<\/p>\n It’s sewn with the good sides facing together, then sewn with a \u00bc inch seam allowance, leaving about a 6 inch opening to turn the blanket inside out.<\/p>\n “Once the blanket is turned out, I press the edges and making sure I have nice corner, and crisp edges before using a decorative stitch to close the opening.
