And now, during the current pandemic, the rest of the world has also caught up. People sewing scrubs and masks are just the tip of the\u00a0<\/strong><b>iceberg as it were during the lockdown period.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Upcycling, sewing your own clothes &#8211; and of course the current backlash against fast fashion &#8211; have become more widespread than at any time over the last couple of generations. New sewists, returning sewists, and those who never went away are spending time creating a whole range of wonderful things.
