How Nicky’s memory bears are comforting her mother-in-law<\/h2>\n

Memory bears can be such a wonderful thing to make – helping to keep alive reminiscences of friends or relatives who have sadly passed on.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nicola Hill, of Dry Drayton in Cambridge, made the three wonderful examples you see here from her father-in-law’s clothes following his sad death, using her favourite Elna sewing machine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One surprising turn of events came when Nicky’s mother-in-law recognised her late husband’s clothes that the bears had been made from.<\/p>\n

Nicky said<\/p>\n

“My mother in-law has dementia but remembers that these were his clothes.”<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
