Pintucks are very popular on dressy blouses and skirts, lingerie and nightwear. It is a technique much used in Heirloom Sewing for children clothes and christening gowns. The Pintuck Foot is used with a twin needle to create multiple rows of pintucks. The grooves on the underside of the foot make it easy to stitch several rows parallel and evenly spaced from each other.
There are two feet in this set, one with 7 fine grooves and one with 5 deep grooves, suitable for standard and corded pintucks.
