I am so pleased with the quality of the Janome HD9, it is so sturdy, solid, fast, easy to use and goes through thick seams like you'd expect from a HD machine. I like the separate bobin motor and it means that you don't have to unthread your machine to wind the bobin, it's set up with it's own thread holder. This machine only does straight stitch, no zig-zag, button holes etc etc but it is built to just sew, sew, sew! It is a heavy machine but I'm getting used to that, I think it would be best though, set up on a table or similar and left with it's cover over rather than having to lift and carry every time you want to sew but of course the weight of the machine is also a plus as it won't move about when you drag heavy fabric, leather or other materials …

This machine is amazing, the perfect stitch! So robust and simple to use. Service from GUR was brilliant. Highly recommend both the machine and the shop.

Love this machine , it's excellent. Only slight criticism is the access to the bobbin, It's a bit fiddly to fit and retrieve.

I am loving my new machine; I have struggled with free motion quilting for years using a small Janome domestic machine and a larger husqvarna domestic machine. Skipped stitches eyelashes and broken thread, straight from the box I had no problem and am now quilting with rulers and becoming pleased with the results. So, thankyou it was worth the wait, and the service you provided was excellent. Should I have problems in the future I will be in touch for some help.

Brilliant machine so far, excellent service ordered on a Friday received it on the Saturday. Customer service was excellent when i ordered it and the guy was very helpful. Very easy to use machine and thread. The speed is fantastic, love the cutting button and the threading of the bobbin can be done without re threading the machine. Good instruction book. My only regret is not buying it sooner !!

I LOVE this machine !! I had been researching this machine for months since my hubby said I could have an ‘upgrade’ (though think he presumed i’d sell my previous one !!) and was a little daunted to start with, but the instructions are clear and ‘beastie boy’ and I are getting along beautifully!! Very good machine, great for thick fabrics

After completing university 2 years ago ive been on the search for a “proffesional” or “propper” sewing machine to manage my bridal wear projects! Whilst i own a janome domestic machine and have done for over 10 years i can honestly say nothing compares to the Janome HD9. I would highly reccomend, everything about is so glorious! Having used Juki’s at University (machines built into tables) i was a bit apprehensive about how this machine was going to behave! Its solid, high qaulity and able to complete the tasks at hand with ease! If you want a professional sewing machine which you can transport around (its very heavy though) this is the one for you! Very well suited to my dressmaking needs! And thank you to Gursew for a swift delivery, you guys are Ace!…

I love this machine, powerful yet quiet and great for lots of layers. Just love it, wish I got it sooner. I did buy the narrow foot which is a great addition for fiddly bits
