Janome Embellisher 5 needle unit.

There is no thread or bobbin mechanism involved. Instead, these sharp needles have barbs that catch the fibres of the fabrics and push them down through the layers.  The preset five-reduces needle breakage, even when working with multiple layers.

For use with the Janome: Xpression and FM725.
