I couldn’t decide if I would use one enough to justify the cost but then I found the Novum 4070, and it has served me well. It’s been easy to thread, sews a nice 2 or 3 needle coverstitch which I wanted for hemming knits. I’m glad that I bought this model. It also converts to a overlocker, happy to have the 2 machines built in one. So far I have had good results and delighted for my first coverhem machine to have made the right choice

I am very pleased with my purchase.

GUR are a great company to deal with. They always answer queries in a prompt friendly manner. The machine arrived next working day. I used it a couple of days later, as wanted to give it my full time and attention.

It hemmed stretch material like a dream. It came pre threaded, but I have since threaded it myself, which was easier than threading as overlocker, although I do have the hang of that particular machine now.

I am looking forward to making lots of items and giving them a professional finish.

The machine was on offer and it came with a free carrier, which is brilliant for transporting and keeping machine dust free.

Highly recommend GUR.

Ordered on a whim following a recommendation of this machine in an online sewing group. Great company to deal with. It was processed and shipped before I had time to worry about the fact I’d got to tell my husband I’d bought another sewing machine and it arrived the next day! So quick and easy to set up I was sewing in minutes. I bought the display model but you wouldn't have known the difference from a new one. It works well.

Sounds like it means business as it growls, or is it GURRR!

I wont be using it that much, which is why I bought a cheaper machine but considering all things its great and does the job.

Fits in well with my other three machines, heavy duty, overlocker, my lovely Bernette and now this beastie. .

I worried about ordering this coverstitch, a) because I hadn't used this company before. And b) I had never heard of Gritzner machines. The coverstitch was less than half the price of the cheap coverstich machines and you usually get what you pay for.. I researched gritzner and realised the company had been bought out by Pfaff years ago, who were obviously using the name as budget entry model. Ordered online and paid via my phone Gpay. Delivered at lunchtime the following day. The Coverstitch does everything I want it to once I got used to the different way of sewing. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended 👌

I’ve not had it long, but I have found it easy to use and very easy to thread using various types including woolly nylon. I had to learn how to pull threads forward, cut, and pull back. Once that was mastered I have no problems. Sews nicely over various types of fabric. Easier to thread than an over locker. In all, a good straight t forward, no problem machine.

I had been thinking about getting a cover hemmer for the some months trying to decide if I really did need one as they don't come cheap. After reading reviews and doing lots of research as well as soul searching, I finally decided to take the plunge and ordered the Janome Coverpro 2000cpx. My machine arrived the day after ordering and came ready threaded and I quickly set it up and did several test pieces. The machine is well made, sturdy and has a quality feel to it. The light is good and it has a large bed giving ample space for work. It sews beautifully and I have now completed to 2 projects on stretch and jersey fabrics with no problems at all. Having previously owned a Janome 1000CP and having the chance to upgrade to this latest model (2000CPX) I didn't hesitate to grab this opportunity with both hands. The new Tension Level Control (TLC) and Janome's Seam Tightening System™ (STS) is a big improvement, specially for owners who had tension problems on previous models. This machine does 1000spm and is quieter than the previous model, although that's a little hard to gauge as mine sits on a closed cell foam mat (as do all of my machines). The LED lighting is good, the freearm is the same as the previous models and too big for most small sleeves/necks, etc. but as I sew 'in the round' this is not a problem, however I do like the Janome for it's larger flatter bed and space to the right of the needles. …

This is excellent value and a highly recommended machine. After phoning GUR for advice on the best cover stitch machine, they advised me on the 2000CPX and I haven’t looked back since. It’s extremely simple to pick up, even though the 2000CPX only does one stitch, it still stitches fantastically on a wide range and on thicker fabrics.
