Generally pleased with the machine - very easy to use and clear logical display.
My only gripe is the needle threader which doesn’t swing around far enough to get the hook though the needle.

Lovely looking machine compared to my two old sewing/ embroidery machines, one of which has to go!

I found it straight forward to to use the machine, select different stitch type and work through a lot of stuff.

I don’t like how the foot lifts up every time I take my foot of the pedal, but there is a button for that.

The down fall of this machine is that the embroidery patterns have to be downloaded and then put onto the machine.

I do have an old windows PC so I can download patterns and put them on a data pen, I’m concerned that it won’t be straight forward. If I could use my phone to sort the files I’d be happier.

So I’ve yet to look into the embroidery side of it much, but my old 9700 and 9500 were much less complicated. And I wasn’t as old when I learnt them!

This machine is excellent, it's very easy to learn to use.

I have already started quilting with it the extension table makes it so much easier to handle the quilt.

Very helpful advice was given by GUR prior to purchase and the sewing machine I chose was delivered the next day.

Ordered my 1st long arm machine, I was nervous about spending so much money on line. I rang customer service who gave me the confidence to place my order. My machine arrived as promised, and I am over and above happy, and will definitely recommend and use your services again.

Machine is great however did not receive the expected customer service from GUR.
I ordered the machine an hour before the next day delivery countdown on the website, so did expect the machine the next day but also understood it was late in the afternoon.
I received an email to say it was dispatched with no tracking number.
I rang multiple times for a tracking number and there was no answer.
I sent an email which was unanswered.
I eventually got a call back where the man said that I ordered late, it missed next day and was coming directly from Brother and were trying to get the tracking. He also said he had seen my email (but hadn’t responded).
The next day, still no contact for GUR, still no tracking and so I send more emails asking for my tracking. (I work and therefore needed to make sure someone would be at my house to receive the machine).
Delivery was attempted but I of course was not in, and could not redirect the delivery. Still no contact from GUR.
The next day I still had no contact from GUR, so in the end had to tape a note to my front door to deliver to my neighbour. Not great.
They did deliver to my neighbour thankfully.
Later that day GUR finally responded to my email with my tracking (had already been delivered to neighbour at this point) and said in the email they hadn’t seen them as they went to junk folder.. interesting as the gentleman I spoke to the day after I ordered said he had seen my email.

Whilst the delivery ended up taking 4 days, is not terrible. When next day was stated on the site (as again, I ordered before the window closed) and spending much time trying to contact GUR to be ignored it was quite frustrating.

However, I’m very sorry to read about your experience regarding the delivery and communication. I completely understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly when you were trying to obtain the tracking information so you could ensure someone was at home to receive the parcel.

Your order was placed late in the afternoon and, unfortunately, the machine was dispatched directly from Brother, which meant we had to wait for the tracking information to be issued from their system. That said, we should have kept you better informed during this process, and I apologise that our communication did not meet the level of service we aim to provide.

Regarding the emails, it appears some messages were unfortunately filtered into the junk folder on our system, which delayed our response. I appreciate that this would have been very frustrating while you were trying to make arrangements for the delivery.

I’m glad to hear the parcel was eventually delivered safely to your neighbour, but I do sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and the extra effort you had to make to ensure the delivery was received.

Your feedback is important to us, and we will certainly review this internally to improve our communication in situations like this going forward.

Next day delivery as promised. Fantastic customer support when I had difficulty with one function on my machine by way of telephone and a personalised instruction video sent by email to me. (My fault and not the machine !). Highly recommend this supplier.

I found ordering simple and GUR offered the best price for the bin. Delivery was swift. had thought to manage without one but it's a real help in collecting the blade cut off, especially when working with jersey fabric on an overlocker. Needles not yet tested but I'm glad in my workbox for future projects.

This is the scant ¼" foot I needed. I bought it for my Juki TL2200 mini because Juki doesn't offer a scant ¼" foot. This one from Janome fits and does the job perfectly.
The ordering process was easy and the product was well packaged and arrived super fast.

GUR have always provided me with a good service, the pre wound bobbins for embroidery are good quality and so handy. They arrived in good time, along with the parchment lining fabric which is good quality for lining bags.

A great foot to use on my Janome Memory Craft 9600P with Accufeed and the Hp feed dog plate. It worked great when sewing through 6 layers of heavy duty waterproof canvas.

Haven’t had it long enough to give it a good test yet, but have done some free motion which was good, zigzag stitch okay and general sewing all okay.

Service was good I arrived two days early.

I ordered a narrow zipper foot from GUR. The process was extremely fast and efficient. The zipper foot was delivered a day earlier than expected, which was great timing fir my sewing project.

Before I made a choice on what machine to buy I called GUR and spoke to a very knowledgeable gentleman. Purchasing my machine through them has given me the confidence that if there was ever a problem I could contact them easily and speak to a human. My machine was delivered next day and I couldn’t be happier, it purrs like a kitten and I’ve already made a full sized quilt with it! Very nice machine, unbeatable price for a long arm, I cant fault the stitch quality, it is nice to be able to use a manual stitch, comes with a very clear easy to use instruction book. I have used it twice once for a P.V.C.. clear foot holder with a bias bound edging & also a lavender heart shaped plaque made from suede and sequined voile. I am looking forwards to using the free hand embroidery also make the odd bag or two, larger item's like Duvet cover's and replacing my cushion's. as I believe this machine is the one for the job as it uses up to 1,000 S.P.M., I found a lot of the Brother accessories compatible which is nice also you can make button holes as large as you like. This machine is going to be my fun go to machine. for crafting and large project's

Procrastinated for years about buying an overlocker and finally took the plunge. When it arrived, it wouldn't work (operator error!), and having emailed them about it, I received a very quick and thorough email from them running through all the possible issues step by step and giving me plenty of confidence to know, that if none of these suggestions resolved the issue, they would be there waiting and ready to help further. I’ve been after a Cover Stitch machine for a long time and hummed and arred whether to get another Jack industrial to go with my Jack sewing machine and Jack Overlocker or just buy a small one, then I saw this one. Heavy Duty, compact, looks solid, never heard of the name, however, found out that it was a Germany company founded in 1872 by Carl Gritzner, so I ordered it.

It’s nice, very nice, easy to thread, not noisy like the other cover stitch machines I’ve seen which is a plus for me. It is heavy duty, so I can use it for my small garment alteration business. Rather than looking in the instruction book, the various cover stitch combinations are displayed on the front of machine too which is ideal.

The seller was quick to dispatch the item once it was paid for, even thought it was a display model, I wouldn’t have known if it hadn’t been stated on the advertisement or on the box as the machine was very clean and in its own box too.

I would buy again and recommend this seller along with any Gritzner machine.
