Procrastinated for years about buying an overlocker and finally took the plunge. After following their suggestions, the machine works perfectly - that extra 1mm of push on the socket did it's magic! Now anything that doesn't move gets overlocked! I’ve been after a Cover Stitch machine for a long time and hummed and arred whether to get another Jack industrial to go with my Jack sewing machine and Jack Overlocker or just buy a small one, then I saw this one. Heavy Duty, compact, looks solid, never heard of the name, however, found out that it was a Germany company founded in 1872 by Carl Gritzner, so I ordered it.

It’s nice, very nice, easy to thread, not noisy like the other cover stitch machines I’ve seen which is a plus for me. It is heavy duty, so I can use it for my small garment alteration business. Rather than looking in the instruction book, the various cover stitch combinations are displayed on the front of machine too which is ideal.

The seller was quick to dispatch the item once it was paid for, even thought it was a display model, I wouldn’t have known if it hadn’t been stated on the advertisement or on the box as the machine was very clean and in its own box too.

I would buy again and recommend this seller along with any Gritzner machine.

I love both my new serger and my fancy new steam iron. The iron has many features that I find very reassuring and useful.My cat is my sewing buddy, and when I'm quilting I am always worried about her knocking the iron over. This new one has a shut off feature.
The serger, was an item on my bucket list, and although I haven't had much experience using one, I look forward to mastering the technics.

Machine is absolutely fabulous.
The function that cuts the cotton saves time and mess.. sadly the first machine delivered was faulty but GUR technician was fantastic and replaced it without quibbles.

They helped me track down a part for our sewing machine and again were most efficient.

I have been after a sewing machine with a larger throat for a while now. I kept coming back to the q100. I eventually decided to call the shop and seek their advice. What a lovely man. He spent about an hour on the phone asking me what I wanted to sew, how often, fabrics I wanted to use etc. He came up with a list of three and then told me to go away and have a think about it. So I did. And I still came back to the Novum Q100. And how pleased am I. Its a size that's for sure, but not unmanageable. The sewing area is larger than I have been used to and makes for a little work area for pins and such. The needle up/down function is a joy, and the lock stich is too. There are enough functions to be excited by but not over awed by. The touch screen is intuitive and it comes with a paper manual to get you going. The machine also comes with a 1/4" quilting foot, but it does not have a guide, so I bought one that did. The only thing the machine does not have that my regular sewing machine does is a measuring guide printed on it. But I can live without that. It was a lot of money, but most definitely worth every penny. Thank you for your help and guidance and time, it was greatly appreciated.

I bought my sewing machine from GUR some years ago & the foot pedal needed replacing. I had bought my machine via Amazon but when I checked their website I couldn't find a replacement for my brand so I contacted the seller (GUR) & they told me I could order the pedal on their website & sent me the right model number etc. I ordered it from them & was very happy with the price - their service was excellent & helpful & the website easy to navigate. Now I know where to go if I need any more parts! I can highly recommend this company.

The trim trap makes using my overlocker SO much tidier & cleaner as it stops bits going everywhere. The table is also handy as it stops you having to manhandle the fabric quite as much to get it through the overlocker.

GUR were great with competitive prices & prompt postage.

I have ordered some needles for my sewing machine and the Janome 751603400 | Zig Zag Needle Plate. The replacement needle plate is the original replacement part and it fitted with no problem. Good quality products and prompt delivery. Will definitely order again.

Have had a lot of second hand machines and been quite happy with them but this is the first one that I have bought for myself and I am delighted with it especially the needle threader and the ease of learning about it and sewing.

I brought this machine after doing some research in what would work best for me and what I plan to sew. It's a lovely machine and works great. I have only used it a few times yet and not used all the functions but I do plan to get in to some projects.
It's easy to load the thread, speed control is the button to slide.
I do currently refer to the manual on how to set it up and do things which is very detailed.
I chose GUR Sewing Superstore as its local to me and if ever needed anything I could pop in to the shop and liaise with the staff.
