Very easy to shop on line. Delighted with the Novum Pro 500q. I have upgraded from a domestic sewing machine. And am just studying all the quilting programs and books so I can enjoy quilting and have a bit of confidence to use the machine for its full potential.

I would not be able to afford this machine if I bought it from the manufacturers or another supplier. I received it within a couple of days of my order being processed. My sister bought me this machine as I was looking for a slightly bigger one. I seen this and done loads of research on it but I just kept coming back to it. I knew I had to get it as it was the machine for me..I love how quiet it is and elegant and professional it looks. I haven't played around yet with the stitches or anything else on it. I make quilts and was the perfect machine. For me to experiment with.I would highly recommend this am hone as you get excellent value for money and definitely won't be disappointed.I shall leave another review once I have had it longer and played around with everything it has. This machine is terrific value for money. Good quality with lots of features and attachments that you might otherwise find on a much more expensive machine. It is stylish in looks and smooth and efficient in action.

I’m so pleased with this machine. It’s really easy to use and I’m really impressed with the features it offers. Pluses for me are the drop in bobbin and the start stop facility. There are loads of stitch patterns available too. It’s a little fiddly unscrewing the plate to access the parts to oil, but I think that’s me rather than the machine.

This is a stunning machine -,have had it for about six weeks as a step up from my Horizon 7700 and have yet to use all the fabulous features. With the Accurate Stitch regulator and large extension table included in the intro offer, I truly believe this will be my last 'new' machine purchase. I already own a janome sewing machine which has served me well for numerous years so it wasn’t a difficult decision to replace my old machine with a new janome and I opted for the 5060 QDC. I placed my order online which was nice and simple to do and delivery was amazingly fast. I haven’t tried out all the functions yet on my new machine but I’m sure with spring just round the corner it will definitely be put to some good use. This sturdy sewing machine is my 2nd one. It sews through thick layers of fabric, but handles the sheer fabrics with ease. I like it has a great array of stitches and a one step buttonhole facility.Would recommend this machine if you are a heavy user, I use mine 6 days a week

Was perusing machines for a friend getting back into sewing & came across the Jaguar DQS 405 & it was on offer (ex demo) at an excellent price. Husband bought it for me as when I bought my last machine, it was buy what's left due to the pandemic. It started me on my sewing journey, but, after using a computerised machine at a sewing class I was hankering after one. I am not disappointed. What a super machine. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get my head around the instructions, but, after playing around with the machine over a couple of sessions I've now sussed it. I don't know why I was worried. Nice easy machine to use, smooth action. Tried the button hole function and it did miss a couple of stitches, also the automatic threading is a little fiddly which kind of defeats the object. However, on the whole a good machine for the money.

just started to use my sewing machine Jaguar DQS405 it is so quiet just purrs forgive the pun ,also the needle threader is a life saver for me, my failing eye sight and shaking hands were making sewing very difficult but not anymore. A great machine and great company, would recommend.

I am getting to know my new sewing machine, so far so good, I found the walking foot easy to attach so now I am ready for the next patchwork class.

I am so pleased with the quality of the Janome HD9, it is so sturdy, solid, fast, easy to use and goes through thick seams like you'd expect from a HD machine. I like the separate bobin motor and it means that you don't have to unthread your machine to wind the bobin, it's set up with it's own thread holder. This machine only does straight stitch, no zig-zag, button holes etc etc but it is built to just sew, sew, sew! It is a heavy machine but I'm getting used to that, I think it would be best though, set up on a table or similar and left with it's cover over rather than having to lift and carry every time you want to sew but of course the weight of the machine is also a plus as it won't move about when you drag heavy fabric, leather or other materials …

I'm a beginner but had grown out of my beginner sewing machine. I wanted to buy a machine which would be easy to use just now while I'm still learning but would also be 'future proof' as my skills and projects develop so I thought what better machine than the ones used on the Sewing Bee - if it's good enough for them it's more than good enough for me. So far it's been a delight to use, it's so easy to set up and the functions like lock stitch button and thread cutting button are such useful, time saving features. Ordering process was very straight forward, invoicing and information prior to delivery was spot on. Product despatched and arrived in timely fashion. Well packaged arrived promptly safe and sound. The machine itself is so far, a delight. Easy to follow instructions read, plugged in and away. Working through this and that, some new things to learn, can't yet find anything criticise. Bought this machine after a lot of research having previously owned 2 other well known brands. I hadn't heard of Jaguar before but I wanted a machine that did letters and numbers as well as automatic buttonholes . This machine gave me everything I wanted at a really good price and a longer guarantee than other machines. It's a brilliant machine ! Easy threading, automatic tension, clear instruction manual. So easy to change stitches. Embroidery stitches are very well done and just a touch of the screen changes length and width. Basic sewing is smooth and even and I love the feature of automatically backstitching begining and end of seams at the touch of a button. Although I bought my Jaguar DQS 405 from GUR in February I didn't get the chance to sew with it until this weekend. Fantastic. I love the speed control, the vast selection of stiches, the needle up/down button, the needle threader etc. This machine is so quiet. I choose Jaguar because I'd previously bought the Jaguar Overlocker and found that easy to use and very quiet compared to the Lidl Model I had. The service was good and the staff very helpful. Have finished a long-standing project to make removable covers for 2 outdoor sofas. The overlocker did the work in short time with beautiful finish inside and out. Needed to change thread and it was easy to follow instructions. My sister is a DT teacher and was very impressed when she saw how easy it is to access the interior for threading and cleaning. Delighted with my purchase. My daughter had the sewing machine for her birthday and has started some simple projects. She is also pleased with the results and loves being able to sew without a foot pedal. Both Jaguar machines have a good quality feel and we are very happy so far.

Purchased to replace my Singer that I’d had for over 40 years and I’m absolutely buzzing with it. It has so many features that my old machine didn’t, lots more stitches and is so quiet. I was a little apprehensive and I must admit the price persuaded me to give this Jaguar DQS 377 a chance and I’m so glad I did. I’ve not used it to it’s full potential just yet but I’m impressed with the 4/5 hours I played around with it when it was delivered yesterday. Super machine! A huge step up from my first Janome and a considered purchase, but worth it. The knee lift is a real game changer for applique and there are so many stitches to choose from. Although I'm still learning about the machine and what it is capable of, I have no hesitation in recommending it.

I’ve been sewing for about 10 years, using a mechanical Janone. It is a decent machine, although temperamental when it comes to buttonholes. In a fit of lockdown madness, I bought a Jaguar over locker- having never used one before- and I was smitten. It is a dream. So in a second fit of lockdown madness ( there’s no vaccine for this) I replaced my Janone with a computerised Jaguar. Oh my goodness, it’s another dream of a machine. Buttonholes? Just whisper the word and the machine swings into action. Embroidery and alphabets? I never knew I wanted these. Ordinary stitching? I can vary the lengths and widths precisely. It even threads itself properly. I love this machine, and I’m so glad I bought. It was promptly dispatched by GUR. No complaints.

Having had the machine a few weeks and taken time to get used to its various functions (but not all of them yet!) I have to say I am extremely happy with it. Apart from it looking sleek and ergonomic I love the full colour screen, and video tutorials, the simple, clear way each stitch is described and the modifications you apply (length, width) are displayed on screen as you alter them so no guessing! Using it for quilting a lot of the time the long throat length is perfect, and it has an impressive array of feet and attachments. A nice touch is being able to drop the feed dogs for FMQ from a button on the LCD display screen - no removing the extension table and reaching round to the back of the machine for an up/down lever. I bought this machine for my husband, he was always using mine. I am so jealous.

It is amazing and he is doing so well considering he has only ever sewn skin before. (He was a surgeon) now he has made a quilt which is the envy of al of our children and has a lot of orders from them.

I am loving my new machine; I have struggled with free motion quilting for years using a small Janome domestic machine and a larger husqvarna domestic machine. Skipped stitches eyelashes and broken thread, straight from the box I had no problem and am now quilting with rulers and becoming pleased with the results. So, thankyou it was worth the wait, and the service you provided was excellent. Should I have problems in the future I will be in touch for some help.

I received my Janome 5060 QDC Computerised Sewing Machine Plus Wide Table Included early January but only started using it yesterday. It’s light to carry and the wide table is great as I was sewing curtains. Nice and quiet and easy to use. So far I’ve only used straight stitching and looking forward to use all the embroidery stitches and the quilting accessories. Great machine

Staff very helpful and delivery was next day as promised. Instructions with machine clear and it is quite in use. Had a problem with tension and was disappointed with fancy stitches, I unthreaded machine and rethreaded both upper thread and spool. I had not threaded spool properly and tension is better. I did some dressmaking and find the thread trimmer button and speed adjustment useful. I am still getting used to machine and have not tried all the stitches yet. I am sure I will be able to get support if I need it in future

Very easy to use machine and thread. The speed is fantastic, love the cutting button and the threading of the bobbin can be done without re threading the machine. Good instruction book. My only regret is not buying it sooner !!

Love it! This is an upgrade from another Janome machine. So easy to get to grips with, I've already finished a pair of trousers with it. Powerfull enough for thicker fabrics, plenty of decorative stitch options and lots of handy features. Combined with my overlocker this produces beautifully finished garments. I would definitely recommend this machine.

I have not had a new machine since I was 18 - then spent the last 25 years wearing out machines family cast-offs so when my last second hand machine bit the dust I decided the time had come to treat myself. However lockdown put paid to the in store experience so a neighbour lent me her Brother LX17 - a basic machine but impressive and my first experience of a Brother. After many many hours reviewing different models and now looking to incorporate one that was easy enough for my daughter to learn to machine sew with and to meet my current needs I chose the Innov-is NV15. Still getting to grips with the auto needle threading - there is definitely a knack to it - but as to the rest, just love it. Machine feels solid but easy enough to move. I purchased the Janome 780dc sewing machine on Monday, excellent service received from Palma in customer service. The item arrived at 8.15 am the following morning. The machine is for a Christmas present so not sure on the workings yet, but a great company to deal with.

The Brother Innovis A50 is a great machine and the service from GUR was also great. From my first call to Palma who answered the phone to me, I have nothing but praise for this company. My friend told me about it, and it was a great choice. I haven't used/tried the machine much yet, but what I have has been great. The self threading device has come on wonderfully in recent years, and for anyone who knew this self threading device years ago and knew how difficult it was, this is totally different. Just fantastic and soooo easy.

I chose this as it seemed to have all the features I needed and was similar to my previous 14 year old Brother machine which was tired out. I'm pleased with the replacement as the LED screen is easy to use, the number of stitches are sufficient for my needs and the bonus of the wide table will be useful for a quilting project which is a new project for me.

Ordering was a breeze and delivery was as promised. Haven't unpacked and used the machine yet though but do trust the Brother brand so am looking forward to trying the machine out in the near future.

I ordered the 5060 QDC but it was lost in transit. Being the last one I was offered another machine M100 QDC which I accepted. The team at Gur were so helpful and friendly and made sure my new machine arrived the next day. There was a bobbin missing and they replaced this with some spares within a few days. The customer service is excellent, special thanks to Palma for his help. The machine is lovely and quiet to use, the instructions are clear in the manual plus there's a CD included for visual assistance. My last machine was a manual and 18 years old. My new M100 makes it a pleasure to sew again, with so many time saving features. I can't recommend Gur and the M100 enough, they both do an outstanding job!

This was a fantastic upgrade from an old Brother 8015. I'm so happy with the machine: it's really easy to use, has all the stitches I need, and it's really quiet. GUR sent out the machine really quickly (and for free) and it only took a couple of days to arrive.

I got this as a replacement for my 30 year old brother machine, oh how I wish I had purchased this machine earlier, it is so smooth, quiet and easy to use, and the scissor function well it is wonderful. This is an absolutely amazing machine, I did a lot of research before I bought this particular one and I looked at all the range. This one for me ticked all the boxes and more. It is lightweight at 6.4kg excellent for moving around. The best feature for me is the auto needle threader I am blown away with it. It is even better than my other branded machine! When you are looking for a new sewing machine it is important to research them even the other models and it is also important to know what features you want. And for me this was it. It is also good to have a budget.

I am fairly new to seeing (dug out my old sewing machine over lockdown) and had just caught the bug when it died on me. I felt like I needed advice and read a lot of reviews online, but also wanted extra reassurance (my old machine wasn’t computerised) and so also rang gur for advice. A very neat quiet and efficient sewing machine which has since purchase helped produce 30 masks and an apron, At present have not used many of the specialist stitches, but they look good. So far the machine has proved very easy to use.

I have been sewing for 40 years including some years when I did it for a living. I had two machines during this time, first one still working :)) ,second served me 27 years and recently died :( . After a long search, about two months ago I bought Brother Innov-Is NV1800Q Computerised Sewing Machine. I can already say that this is a great machine. Almost... It has many figures, possibilities, the seam goes beautifully, but... The head of the machine is so big and so close to the flat bed (needle plate cover), that it limits the operational space under the machine’s head. I already can’t imagine how I am going to sew (attach) a collar to a shirt when you need to use your fingers a lot. I already had a problem with making/sewing folds In masks... I bought this machine as an all-round workhorse.
I did a lot of research before deciding on this model, which when I saw it had been used on the Great British Sewing Bee with such ease, confirmed my decision.
I have been playing around with it and it is a real joy to use. It has all of the features I will need. It feels sturdy and whilst sewing it is very stable and quiet.
I have tried various stitches, made a couple of automatic buttonholes and got to grips with the automatic needle threader.
I am really pleased with the included accessories, can't think of anything else I would need at the moment. I do love that there is an extra spool holder to refill the bobbin.

I also know people who have had a Janome (the same machine) for almost 30 years and therefore had confidence in the brand. The Janome 725S is far better than all the reviews I have read. The machine is relatively quiet and super easy to use. It would suit a beginner as well as a more advanced sewer. I am absolutely thrilled with it and I thoroughly commend it to you.

Brilliant machine with loads of features and easy to use. Quite a step up from my previous computerised Janome but it is all fairly intuitive. Love the newer needle threader and the thread cutter is great.

I bought this machine based on it being a best seller. She is a good strong study build and loves to work on woven material. Her stitch selection is nice and is the stitches themselves. This machines in any to noisy either. Although the start up noise is odd! But that said, She does not like twin needle even with a organ needle (for the machine) really dislikes it actually and skips stitches non stop and kills itself. I’ve used it 10 times since getting it on my kids tops to hem or leggings to hem. I avoid using it as I wanted twin needle and a machine happy with stretch fabric and even after a blast of steam it isn’t great. I go for my 1975 sewing machine and she finishes it off for me (twin needle too) after things have been overlocked. Personally I dislike this …

Used for about a week now and it is performing very well. Only very minor issue I have found is that the thread cutter cuts threads too short which results in the thread pulling out of the needle.

I am so impressed with this machine, its runs really smoothly, the display is much clearer than you see in the photos or videos, it surprised me. Its so easy to use and the instructions are very easy to understand. It came with everything you need to start sewing. Really pleased with my new machine. A huge upgrade on my 20yr old basic Janome but still simple enough to use without too much difficulty. Instruction book really helpful and easy to follow. Stitching is great and I don’t know how I ever managed without a needle threader! Have only used it to make a few small items so far - will be testing it out on curtain making in the next few weeks.

Very impressed by the excellent delivery service from GUR Sewing Superstore! We ordered the machine during lockdown when every sewing machine got sold immediately in front of your eyes. I am a seamstress who does almost anything sewing wise. I found this machine to be able to cope with fine and heavy fabrics. I find it easy to use and smooth sewing action. I have found I use a decent amount of the stitches. All the accessories are useful especially the walking foot. I would recommend this machine to both new sewers and experienced.

As a beginner sewer I did quite a bit of research into what type of machine to buy with the hope that I would become a better sewer! I absolutely love this machine and all the things it does. I have managed to sew a few small items and have found it very easy and stress free. The number of different stitches available is phenomenal and the built in button holes are fab. This machine is very easy to use and as a beginner it has made things very easy, I particularly like the fact that I can slow the machine using the button on the front, brilliant for going round corners! All in all I would thoroughly recommend this machine and the service I have received from GUR sewing machines.

This machine is so easy to set up and use, but don't let that make you think it is just for beginners. This machine has a multitude of functions and options which provide the operator a huge amount of control over all aspects of use. It allows flexibility across the board and isn't complicated for the sake of it. I bought this new machine to replace an old 25 year old singer. Wow! Wishing I had upgraded sooner. It’s quiet and smooth and does much more than is really needed. I haven’t mastered all of the stitches yet and I’m not sure the lettering is as good as it seems but I would definitely pick this machine again.

Excellent replacement for my 30 year old previous machine. Will handle all I require of it and more. I was not looking to spend a fortune and this machine was well priced and has all the features that I was looking for. I did not need 100's of differing stitch choices or more than a basic number of ways to sew buttonholes. Wonderfully quiet to use and the extra wide table will be well used. I must emphasize that the needle up/needle down feature is a must! Very pleased with my purchase from GUR.

I have used this machine to make quilts, dolls clothes and fancy dress costumes. The machine has worked well using a variety of fabrics and thicknesses. I particularly like the variable speed especially when sewing difficult fabrics, ie. sequinned, netting, wadding, leather etc. My machine came with the quilt accessories and the feet are essential if intending to make quilts or do top stitching. You can do this with the machine feet included but the walking foot and open toe foot make this much easier. The machine is easy to use and the manual has clear instructions. Janome 5060 QDC I made several phone calls and looked at lots of machines! I am happy to say I made the right choice. (With the help of a very patient salesman) I love this machine. I has everything I need & more. I also think the instruction manual is really good too. I am dyslexic and struggle with instructions. But I find this so easy to follow!

Having never used a Janome machine before, I was pleasantly surprised by easy it was to use. I’m an experienced sewer and make bags, and so far it’s copied with all I’ve thrown at it. Even four layers of denim, or vinyl. Need to try out the huge range of stitches next! Overall a good buy!

I purchased the DKS30SE as I wanted a computerised model that was fairly basic. I already own other (Janome) machines that have a large variety of built in stitches and as this machine will be used mainly for dressmaking, patchwork and general sewing, it is perfect. I really like the fact that the stitches are clearly displayed on large buttons and also the foot that is needed. By the press of a button the machine will set stitch width and length but there is the capability to make adjustments. All of the B category feet I have for my Jem Platinum fit the machine. For me, the feature I love the most has to be the thread cutter and the needle threader! This is a fabulous machine and would be ideal for a beginner or an experienced sewist. This is the first time I have used a Jaguar sewing machine , having used Singer for the last 30 years. I can say that the machine looks very well made. I have used it to make a summer dress and have found that each setting I have used has worked very well. It is taking me some practice to get used to the start stop button instead of using the foot pedal, but the fantastic thing is that I have a choice of either. I am finding that the information booklet is good at explaining how to use the embroidery section. I love my new machine, It is going to get better with practice for me, but I cannot fault the machine at all.

After completing university 2 years ago ive been on the search for a “proffesional” or “propper” sewing machine to manage my bridal wear projects! Whilst i own a janome domestic machine and have done for over 10 years i can honestly say nothing compares to the Janome HD9. I would highly reccomend, everything about is so glorious! This one was a birthday gift for my daughter and will be her first. I wasn't sure about buying a Janome as I hated one I had before. However the Janome 5060 qdc has all the requirements I need for an extra machine so thought I'd take the risk. I love it! It feels sturdy, and very easy to navigate. The free extention table & quilting foot + bag were a real bonus and customer service excellent as usual. I think I'd even recommend this machine for a serious beginner as there is so much you can do on it. Free motion embroidery is a breeze. The auto needle threader just needs a little practise, and in my experience, gets better and smoother to use over time. I spoke to Palma yesterday about a new item and today I took delivery of my Janome Antelier 6. My old item which is about 20yrs old has no whistles or bells so i was a little worried about being able to use all the different stitches and setting up this new one. I got it straight out of the box and firstly filled a bobbin and put it i, then i threaded the item and used the automatic needle threader. It was a breeze. I sat and tried out some of the lovely applique' stitches and it was all so very easy, the item told me which feet to use for the different tasks, making it ver easy to use. The machine is wonderful and sews like a Rolls Royce but only cost a mini! Since I received it I have made several tops, dresses and even a bag.

Received my Jaguar DQS 405 very promptly a couple of weeks ago. Was pleased with the quality of the build, and the solidness of the case. Having had a couple of weeks now to try it out - the needle threader is fab - my eyesight not what it was. I have done some straight sewing on it and now learning how to use the embroidery stitches. My old machine is at least 30 years old so using a computerised machine rather different but so far so good. Overall very pleased with my purchase and service from GUR.

I've got a top of the range Pfaff but this out does that hands down.

Not keen on the backwards button as I'm used to my other one just tying off at the start and end of a row but other than that all's good.

I bought this machine when my old one broke down soon after starting the massive task of making new loose covers for my lounge suite. The new machine is excellent, very smooth and easily able to deal with many layers of fabric effortlessly. The bobbin just drops in and threads easily and the whole operation is very quick. I went to see GUR Sewing Machines at their shop in Birmingham so I could see the 8200, and they were lovely, I had a demonstration, I was shown all of the basics and more. I already have a Janome but have been looking for a new item for quite a while. I haven't tried anything more ambitious, however the bonus pack with extension table and extra feet, will allow me to do varied projects. Also the two speed foot pedal suggests applique should be possible.

The sewing machine arrived the day after we ordered it. After unpacking it it was so easy to set up and get started. The machine is robust and built to last and we are looking forward to many years of creating and modifying clothes etc.

This is the best machine I've owned, it is so simple to use, works equally well with net, fleece material or leather and the automatic buttonhole stitch is amazing. I cannot praise this machine highly enough and it has helped renew my enthusiasm for sewing. Thank you Janome and GUR.

Well sewing machines have gone up in the world since my poorly machine that gave up after 40 years of service, and that was a good one in its day! Went to the store for a demo of different machines the gentleman was extremely helpful and helped me make my choice I was there for a good hour trying all different machines until I decided on this model. It is taking a lot of getting used to all the little extras that are included on this model Janome 780DC. But after lots of practice and errors I am sure I will get there. I eventually bought the 80 stitch model which is lovely. Good little extras on machine such as a needle threader, auto cut off button which cuts threads when finishing the stitching, no foot pedal necessary but can be used if prefer. This machine takes all the effort out of sewing. The automatic buttonhole feature has to be seen to be believed, press one button and the whole thing is done for you to the exact size of your button. Amazing! Despite the incredible number of features it's not difficult to use at all. My only worry (as with all computerised machines) would be that if the electronics go wrong then the whole machine would be stuffed but hopefully there are years of good use before that is likely to happen.

I am really pleased with thus machine. The machine is very heavy and is made mostly of metal parts as far as i can tell. The needle arm cover opens easily so i can clean inside the machine. I am exceptionally pleased with the speed i have found i can go full speed to slow instantly or vice versa without thread problems like my last machine. I also prefer the LED lights its much brighter than the standard bulb. This came with a hard cover which was great! Overall the machine runs really well without problems and has become my favourite machine so far!

This is a great machine, as I already own three other Brother machines (one embroidery machine and three sewing machines counting this one) I have found that it is easy to use, good sturdy machine that will sew through a range of fabrics without any problem. I use this machine for my quilting classes as it is light enough to carry in my machine bag. Easy bobbin and top threading and with having other Brother machines they all operate the bobbin and top thread the same way so there is no problem of having to re-think how to thread which is a great benefit to the sewer.

This is a lovely machine and is lightweight which makes it easy to carry to class or around the home, with a good variety of stitches. It’s very simple to use and much easier than my large much more expensive machine. I would recommend this machine to novice and experienced sewer. If using for quilting you may wish to purchase a walking foot separately so consider that. Equally it does not come with a free motion foot. Both of these are available from main suppliers and on line. Tension, threading and bobbin winding all happen with ease.

This Janome 230DC I purchased earlier this year and I use it several times each week. It is extremely reliable and dependable. I have had no problems with it at all. The quality of the stitches are very good. It has 30 choices of stitch which is more than sufficient. I have sewed a quilt, clothing, and home décor items. I have used it on canvas and denim and it handled well.

I've done free motion embroidery and free motion quilting with it too. It is quiet and smooth to sew with. The feet are easy to change - snap on and off and they are not expansive as other brands - about £15 each. it is quite light in weight which means it does move around when I use it for quilting but I use a non-stick mat underneath when quilting which helps.

Heavy Duty at it's best. Many layers of canvas is no problem. Very nice machine. I’ve not tried all the stitch options, but it’s so much easier and quieter to use than my previous Janome machine. Already made one patchwork cushion.

Janome hd2200 arrived next day via DPD Next Day. The outer packaging was much too big and was in a poor state which seemed to have caused some damage to the inner Janome packaging which was loose inside the main outer. Fortunately the Janome inner styrene foam protected the sewing machine which operated very well without any apparent malfunction. Overall an excellent machine. I tried all the major functions; buttonholing, button sewing, over edging,etc.. and I was particularly impressed with the needle threading facility. Well pleased !!

This is such a lovely machine. I am a professional dressmaker and have industrial machines as well and bought this machine mainly for buttonholes and zig zag stitch but I find myself using it for general making as well. It is a heavy base, does not jump around, has a purring sound, has easy function with threading and bobbin winding. The auto buttonhole is excellent and it's easy to change stitches. The stitching and tension has been perfect on all stitches. I really am delighted with this and it sits nicely next to my Janome overlocker. Great product.

chuffed to bits with my new Brother sewing machine, it is years since I last used a sewing machine so did not want one which was to complicated.It is of very good quality, I purchased the carry bag at the same time, so very good value. I treated myself to the Jaguar DQS 405 sewing machine and its been an absolute dream to use for my patchwork classes and around the home. I had a Frister Rossmann machine which was bought for me as gift last year and had nothing but hassle, the machine kept on breaking down me and had it replied 4 times under warranty, it was useless. Great service great machine a breeze to use- so simple my teenager loves to use it! Good features practically sews by itself! Sturdy solid machine. I keep looking for new projects to do lol . Alphabet and numerals make it easy to personalise. 1 criticism though I find it has far fewer stitches than the 500 advertised !! But what is there are good for quilting etc..

I own this wonderful machine and it is the mainstay in all my sewing and quilting needs. A great sewing machine that will take all types of fabric with ease, a super top threader and the super Brother drop in bobbin as well. It is great that the Innovis machines all have the same threading mechanism, as it works exactly the same as my Brother 750e Embroidery machine. I am able to sew Double and King Size Quilts with ease as the machine gives plenty of room to manoeuvre. This is definitely one of the best Brother machines on the market today. A super hard case that has room to store your instruction guides which is a nice touch. All I can say to the sewer is buy this model you will not be disappointed, I know that I am not.

My mum surprised me with my first new sewing machine for all my university projects. Love the jaguar machine, love the easy threading, love the easy bobbin loading and love the ease of use. The speed controller is fantastic for a starter like me to be able to control the machine to my pace. I am a beginner to patchwork and quilting, this machine was recommended to me by one of my classroom quilters. WOW have I improved or what, thoroughly enjoyed using the Jaguar 377 compared to my Janome TXL607 which gave me grief and the machine was exchanged and same faults: 1. Foot control not working, machine kept messaging foot not connected 2. Tension problem on the lower side of sewing. 3. Machine was so intermittent one day the electrics okay and the following day the machine will not want to operate. Since I treated myself to the Jaguar 377 I have managed to make 2 quilts which one of them I am hoping to have on display at the Malvern Quilt Show. Visited GUR Superstore and was pleasantly surprised at the range of haberdashery and sewing machine selection. This is my 3rd machine from GUR, after trying various brands...decided on the Jaguar as the stitch quality and finishing seemed far better for my quilting projects. I have had the machine for 3 months and have put it through some difficult to sew projects, glad to say - NO PROBLEM . Easy to use with loads of fabulous sewing stitches. Easy threading.......LOVE the needle threader, my friends were so surprised when showed them that I could thread the needle without looking at machine. Will recommend this machine to anyone.
