Gritzner Sewing Machines

This machine is a game changer for me. Very much early days yet, but I'm staggered by the stitch quality and the ease with which it sews multiple layers. The IDT is like nothing I've ever experienced on a sewing machine. Tonight I sewed through two layers of batting along with two layers of thick coated upholstery fabric, (a dog bed that I cut out ages ago but then avoided sewing with my old machine because it just wasn't man enough) and with the Gritzner, I was virtually able to let go of it. It just sailed through the fabric at considerable speed, and it still sewed in a straight line! I like that it's mechanical. I'm of a mind that there's less to go wrong and it will last.
