It has a built-in flange to keep your seams right at 1/4" all the way around. Clips onto dual Acufeed foot holder which comes with your machine.

I am lucky enough to have a long arm Janome machine, received as a gift. I make a lot of quilts and find a walking foot makes quilting so much easier.
