Product Reviews

This machine is terrific value for money. Good quality with lots of features and attachments that you might otherwise find on a much more expensive machine. It is stylish in looks and smooth and efficient in action.

I’m so pleased with this machine. It’s really easy to use and I’m really impressed with the features it offers. Pluses for me are the drop in bobbin and the start stop facility. There are loads of stitch patterns available too. It’s a little fiddly unscrewing the plate to access the parts to oil, but I think that’s me rather than the machine.

Biased in favour of Brother. I love this machine.

Purchased the Innovis F480 shortly after its introduction many years ago. Sadly in October of 2023 she met with a fatal accident. Looked at various machines in the range, decided the F580 would meet my needs. I can download and/or purchase additional embroidery designs as and when, A wide range of stitches to suit everyone from utility to embroidery and alphabets . Easy to use and understand. A novice could sew within an hour. There is guidance built into the machine. The manual is easy to read and follow, read through it first and try things out. Probably additional help on YouTube which I don't use. Staff at GUR were polite and helpful, delivery was as stated on time. Lovely, polite delivery man who said "I bet Santa is glad he's not delivering this!" It is a considered purchase but the F580 is worth every penny and more. Not yet used PE Design2 which came with the machine, look forward to trying it. My young kitten loved the packaging and he played with it for hours.

Thank you.

Seasons greetings to all.

This is my second overlocker, my first being from a well known (middle of the isle) supermarket. This was noisy and aggressive, it frightened me and put me off overlockers for a long time! But as I continued into my dress making journey, I couldn’t get on with zig zagging as a finish for seams. So I took the plunge, did lots of research and bought this machine, what a transformation! It is quiet, the foot peddle is much more responsive, it is a dream to rethread ( I did watch a video from GUR). It is heavy but I think that adds to the over all good quality feel of the machine. The overlocked seams look really good, and have taken my dressmaking to the next level. Most importantly I now feel in control of the overlocker, and confident in using it My only slight niggle is the instruction manual is in 3 languages so it’s slightly distracting to read but that is just a minor complaint. I am truly pleased with this machine and so pleased with my purchase

I purchased the Brother Innov-Is M380D Sewing and Embroidery Machine, Iron On Away Stabiliser 10m (£5.00), Brother Plastic Bobbins 11.5mm 20pk (£8.99), Brother Bobbin Thread - White | 5 Pack | X81164001/EBTCE (£17.45), Brother QKM2UK | Creative Quilting Kit (£35.00)Madeira 8042 | Softbox | Rayon No.40 | 40 x 1000m; 2 x Bobbinfil 1500m Spool (£94.50) recently.

The service from GUR prior to buying the machine has been so value, the machine has exceeded my expectations.

It works well.

Sounds like it means business as it growls, or is it GURRR!

I wont be using it that much, which is why I bought a cheaper machine but considering all things its great and does the job.

Fits in well with my other three machines, heavy duty, overlocker, my lovely Bernette and now this beastie. .
