The Novum Prime 594 Is a strong machine with a front loading bobbin system, with an extra high presser foot Lift and extra needle penetration power of the Novum 590 allows you sew across heavier & several layers of materials, from silks, to soft furnishing and denim.

There are many features to make sewing even easier, such as the speed control with either the foot control or speed slider and built in needle threader for easy threading. The Prime 594 product easily changes to free arm by removing the detachable storage box, which allows easy access to difficult areas and is ideal for sewing sleeves and trouser legs.

Sew up to 12 automatically sized different buttonholes in one step, plus straight, stretch, variable zig zag stitch or one of the other stitches using the stitch selector and select the most suitable stitch length and width. There are a total of 68 stitches to choose from.

The Novum Prime 594 which is a lightweight, highly desired machine ideal for patchwork, quilting, soft furnishing, alterations and free hand embroidery. This machine is perfect for all levels from beginners, experienced and even professional sewers can get the best out of this machine.

If the Product develops a fault within the guarantee period which has been caused by defective materials or poor workmanship, we will arrange the collection, repair and return at no cost to the customer. Please retain the original packing materials, in case your item has to be returned to us. In the event that the item should need to be returned to ourselves and the original packaging has not been retained, you will be responsible for any costs incurred by couriers to return the machine to ourselves This does not affect your statutory consumer rights and excludes expendable parts (such as needles, bobbins, bobbin cases, carbon brushes, springs, hooks, loopers, overlock knives, bulbs, belts, needle threaders, needle plates etc), normal wear and tear, negligence and misuse, as stated on the manufacturers guarantee document. The collection and return cover applies to UK mainland addresses only.

Damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect or inappropriate use, misuse, negligence or accident (including, but not limited to, the transport of this product without proper preparation or packaging); and
Damage caused by other non-Novum devices or programmes used together with this product (including, but not limited to, the use of consumable items and accessory items).
This warranty shall become INVALID if this product is altered in any way (including, but not limited to, as a result of attempted warranty repairs without Novum's authorisation or alteration or removal of the serial number).

I haven't used a sewing machine for years but having just moved, I wanted curtains, cushions etc that were exactly what I wanted rather than making do with ready-made 'good enough'. I have made all the soft furnishings for my home, reupholstered my son's caravan, made personalised bedding for the kids, repaired zips and lots of other jobs - I don't know how I managed for so many years without a machine! This particular machine has been so simple to use and far less complicated than older machines. Threading and bobbin instructions are printed on the actual machine making it almost fool proof. The only issue I had was when I used different thread for the top stitch and bobbin which really didn't work (serves me right for trying to take a shortcut!). Overall, highly recommended for beginners or straighforward sewing.
