I bought this machine to replace a very old Toyota.

It took me a while to get my head around everything this overlocker would do. Having experimented with both woven and stretch fabrics I can only say how impressed I am with the quality and functionality. It does everything I need for making clothes with a proffesional finish for both adults and children in my family.

Excellent value for money.I spent quite some time comparing machines and, only having a small budget, am so pleased I bought this one. After sales service has been brilliant.

I encountered what I thought was a problem so emailed GUR customer service. Realising that the problem was down to my ineptitude I immediately emailed them back. Their response was fast. Well done! I would not hesitate to come back for other things I may need.

I have been impressed with the Novum Pro Q9 Long Arm Sewing Machine. The delivery was fast, the packaging perfect and the machine undamaged and ready to go. I needed the machine as a portable unit for sewing canvas boat covers. I am not professional, but own two boats that seem to have a lot of canvas! I have just replaced a window in one of the covers and the machine coped very well. I have had to do a slight modification as my sewing twine comes on a 5000m cob that does not fit the machine, but the fix was easy. I have an Adler heavy duty machine set up in my garage, but that may be obsolete now. The Novum Walking Foot is still to be judged. I am not wholly convinced it is an improvement on the standard foot although maybe I am being unfair as it was working on plastic see-through material and probably couldn't get a proper grip - we shall see.

A wonderful sewing machine, I have terrible arthritis in my hands and feet, and this machine has allowed me to continue My love for sewing, I recommended this machine to a friend who also has arthritis and she bought one too.Highly recommend, arrived very quickly. Thank you

Ordered on a whim following a recommendation of this machine in an online sewing group. Great company to deal with. It was processed and shipped before I had time to worry about the fact I’d got to tell my husband I’d bought another sewing machine and it arrived the next day! So quick and easy to set up I was sewing in minutes. I bought the display model but you wouldn't have known the difference from a new one. I would definitely buy from them again - first class service and a great product. Thanks!

I have purchased a Novum overlocker from GUR recently. The order was easy to make, it was delivered promptly and the machine is such good value for money. The reason I chose GUR as opposed to the manufacturer was that the warranty was extended by 1 year. I could not be happier with my purchase and I would highly recommend this company.

After a postage issue, (not GURs fault) that GUR resolved very promptly, I took delivery of the Novum Pro Q400 sewing machine. I'll be honest, it's not a brand I know anything about so did take a punt - and I am so glad I did. What a great machine!! Feels sturdy in use and is relatively quiet compared to my previous machines. Even today, it's quilting a baby quilt quite happily without a walking foot, but I will be getting one soon. The only cons for me, are that it doesn't have a serpentine stitch which is my favourite quilting stitch and that you can't move the needle manually. Give Novum brand a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised
