This patchwork quilt was made for my daughter who celebrated her 16th birthday on the 22nd. I used the Je Taime jelly roll that was designed by Stacey Iest Hsu for Moda Fabrics. I used the pattern ‘Nesting’ by Camille Roskelly. I quilted it with a layer of cotton batting and backed it with red flannel. I used my brother Innov-is a65 to quilt as I don’t own a long arm. It was made with seven hundred 2.5x2.5 squares to make it have the scrappy look. It took me 2 days just to do the quilt top. I think the next time I make this pattern, I will strip piece the fabrics, because I was so sick of 2.5” squares after this.
