• Do the feed dogs drop for free motion work?

• Hi, Just want to ask if this machine handles thin fabric like silk, silky satin, sheer organza and tutu tulle fabric. Also, on the negative side, compared to other machines out there, this one doesn't come with feet and extension table and only two year guarantee which is very disappointing. Thanks

  • Janome HD9 is the top-selling machine in the UK compared to any other straight stitch sewing machine in its league.

    Regarding fabrics, no problem give it what you want and it handles this beautifully without any hiccups from sheer fabrics, upholstery, bag making, curtains you name it.

    An extension table and extra feet can be purchased separately.

    Janome warranty has always been 2 years and never had issues with the length of time given by them, to our knowledge our customers have been happy with this over the last 40 Years.

• Hi, does the Janome HD9 have a locking stitch feature?

• Hi...What is the difference between the Janome HD9 version 1 and the version 2? Thank you Tim

  • THe machines are the same, the Version 2 has a larger bobbin case other than that there is no diffrence in the machine.
