Patchwork memory quilt

I made this quilt to practice my neatness. This is my 3rd project but my biggest and the only one on this machine so far. It took me 40+ hours. Blood, sweat and tears literally went into this quilt. One of my good friends died in Jan 2025 and I made this for her daughter who is my best friend thanks for her being my friend. The quilt is made up of all the thibgs they both loved, their favourite Disney characters, their favoure country to visit and then i attatched patches with more nods to memories. I learnt to have a lot more trust in my self and this project taught me patience and trust. I discovered I had an ear to hear when there was an issue with thread or something else. I hit many obstacles such as a non compatibal walking foot that took 3 days away form my project and caused extra stress. The sewing machine made this project far easier then my old basic one would have. I'm now looking at buying an ovwrlocker as I've got the solid sewing bug now.
