Liberty - Aurora Rainbow Stars Quilt

This was my first BOM and also first huge quilt. It is just under 2 metres square.

It was challenging but got there in the end. I love the fact that a lot of smaller stars make a big star.

It was a delight to sew with all the wonderful Liberty fabric Overall it took my about 18 months to complete but that was with grabbing sewing time when I can.

I absolutely love it and was delighted to be able to exhibit it within my quilt club exhibition recently. The position it had with the light shinning through it gave it a stained glass experience. I also enhanced my skills while I was making it and I adore the finished quilt
