Patchwork and applique quilt

This is a self designed quilt made with appliqué patches representing my daughters 4 years on board a cruise ship as a paramedic.

The 'postcards' around the edge are places she visited, the corners were activities she did the top panel captured the different ships she was on such as the Diamond, etc and bottom panel were items from her work.

Many of the patches were drafted from her own photos of places she visited. I gifted it to her on her final return home and many tears were shed in overwhelming joy.
