Storm at Sea quilt

This was a quilt for my granddaughter A complicated quilt involving small and medium squares in squares and diagonals in an oblong for each panel.

I needed a long arm machine to assemble such a large project and found the Novum handled it all from the precise sewing of small blocks to assembling the full thickness of backing fabric, batting and quilt top. It was great for quilting the completed quilt with all the space of a long arm machine and embroidery stitches.

I'm an amateur quilter so this quilt isn't perfect but I'm looking forward to experimenting with free hand quilting on my new machine.
