I saw a similar quilt at a local exhibition and loved it, it was called the Ugly Quilt, which is an actual pattern available online. The idea is to use either the fabrics you don't like or fabrics that you are unsure what to do with. It was created on the Novum Pro Q500 Long Arm Computerised Sewing Machine and is an excellent machine.
