Double wedding ring quilt

I offered to make a quilt as a wedding present for my son and his fiancée, Henry and Marion. They chose the colour palette of purple, orange, yellow and green but otherwise the design was down to me. The double wedding ring quilt has been traditionally given as a wedding gift so I started my search for fabrics for it. The background has tiny hearts which seemed very appropriate! Tilda has many gorgeous collections with small designs so a selection of those made up the top. For the back I went with their Château Escape as its nod to France links with Marion's french heritage. It took many days of indecision until I finally chose the layout and I'm pleased with the graduation of colour through the quilt.
