My hobby is making dolls. This halloween witch was made with fat quarters of cotton, gingham and embroidered fabric. The face is needle sculpted, using strong thread, entering from the back of the head through the front (corner of eye or mouth) then back through to the back, pulling and fastening off. Placement of these stitches give each doll a different personality.
