My First Quilt

I decided to make a quilt for a wedding gift of one of my closest friends. I'd not attempted quilting before but had done a bit of dressmaking and alterations. Thankfully, I have a close friend who is a skilled quilter, who was willing to teach me. I chose the fabrics to match some beautiful highland cow fabric I'd bought and decided on a nine block patch. I bought the Novum Pro Q500 to assist me on my quilting journey, which was a pleasure to use. I really enjoyed the process and was pleased with the outcome.
