I recently joined a local sewing class where I used an overlocker for the first time. I was very impressed with what they can do but felt it was an expensive item. However, I did look on the net at the prices and saw they were a lot cheaper than I expected. However, I knew I didn't want to buy ome from the television craft channels or one of the big catalogue chains. I have purchased from GUR before but only odd items of haberdashery and their service and prices were good, I saw the Brother which has really good recommendations. I was pleased to see that I could buy it over two months which clinched the deal as it meant I could also get the extension table at the same time instead of buy it later. The delivery was excellent especially as it was a weekend purchase. I haven't used it yet due to time but will be shortly as I will be making some cushion covers.

I am pleased to have stuck to my decision to buy from a "proper" sewing machine shop even though GUR are not local to me. I woild be happy to recommend GUR to anyone. I

Have dealt with GUR in the past and was very impressed with their service. This time I was equally impressed! The service was excellent and as a company are very easy to deal with. I didn't require much in the way of advice regarding the machine I purchased (Brother 4234D Serger) as I had done a lot of research, but the few queries I did have were promptly answered. The machine arrived very quickly and in perfect working order. I am delighted with both the machine and GUR. I would definitely recommend them.

Really pleased with my new overlocker easy to thread works like a dream. Very helpful customer service when the bulb was not working posted a replacement by first class post. Would definitely use again.

This is a great machine! It's the first overlocker machine I've ever used and was so simple to thread, which I was dreading due to hearing such horror stories about them. The instructions were easy to follow and once I got started, I was well away and haven't had any problems at all. If you're considering this machine, just go for it!

My items arrived quickly and were excellent quality. I was very impressed with the range of items on the website. However I am not entirely sure that the zig zag foot is an official brother item and at the price I maybe foolishly assumed it would be.

Has a locking wheel --set it against my wall An is very sturdy An doesn't wiggle around when cutting. I am a quilter an seamstress an have been sewing since a young girl. Both items were listed in stock but I received an email saying they were out of stock a few days after I placed the order. Refund given with no quibble.

Hope to reorder when they are back in stock but would prefer the website to list correct status of items as a few customers have had the same issue.

I was disappointed with the quality and appearance of the needles when they arrived. They were discoloured and all of them broke on the day I used them which has never happened before when I have been felting. However my complaint was well handled and I am waiting replacement needles which I hope will be better,

The top rating is for the customer service by GUR. The bobbins I ordered were delivered in record time. The other part of the order is delivered by a third party - not ideal really - who took almost a month to deliver. KooL at GUR did get it sorted, I s a pity that this would reflect badly on GUR when their service was good.

It's was great to find all the Brother accessories I needed online, in one store, at a reasonable price. Fast delivery too so highly recommended and I will definitely be a return customer, thank you.

I had had difficulty tracking down the replacement Janome foot M that I needed. It did not appear on your stock list and the assistant I spoke to went to some trouble to track it down. It was then delivered promptly.

Perfect service and fast delivery of my pfaff free motion foot for my little passport 2..the feet from my pfaff performance 5.2 did not fit. But G,U,R had a really good range of feet. Wonderful service. Highly recommend for anything. Big or small, same good service.
