Although I have not made full use of all its capabilities, this is a lovely machine that stitches absolutely perfectly. Setting it up takes a while, but it is well worth it. This is a very heavy machine that needs 2 people to move it around. The team at GUR have been outstanding. I purchased my machine on a Sunday night for a Tuesday delivery and I received a call on Monday morning asking if I wanted to receive it early. I was given a timeframe and the member of the team that delivered it called when he was 45 minutes away to give me a heads up. Then followed instructions to deliver it safely. All in all a purchase well worth the money, I am so pleased I went with GUR over any other company!

The Brother Innov-Is A150 machine is simply amazing, more importantly the right one for me. I did do a fair bit of research prior to picking this exact brand and model, there was a bit of gliche with the delivery process which was very quickly sorted. I've already completed my first quilt within a week of having the machine and it has worked like a marvel. Troubleshooting and other instructions are freely available and there's no issue accessing this information, as and when required. Cannot wait to get going with some more projects soon!

My Brother Innov-Is V5 LE Sewing and Embroidery Machine This machine is a game-changer! 💖 expensive for me, but it's worth every penny for the quality and features it offers. I undertook extensive research to ensure my new sewing machine aligned with my needs, and I am delighted to say it far exceeds expectations. Thank you to GUR sewing for the excellent customer service, they were very helpful and answered all of my questions. The machine arrived first thing the next day. I would definitely recommend this machine, you won’t be disappointed.

I live in our Motorhome and have a Juli Jurwve sewing machine which requires a transformer due to the Japanese voltage. It’s also an embroidery machine and weighs 22 kilos. Manoeuvring it around the MoHo wasn’t easy due to its weight and we have to be mindful of the weight we can legally carry. I have always found Japanese machines to be very reliable which is why I decided to buy this machine. I was making a Prom dress and was struggling with my current Juki’s weight. I finished the dress using this machine and I cannot fault it. Did everything I needed it to do and am looking forward to my next (now third with this machine) project. Can’t seem to add a photo of the finished dress, sorry but happy to highly recommend. I should also add that I am an experienced seamstress, I have made sprayhoods for boats, flags for Slimming World and Gazebos for the Royal British Legion. I know sewing machines and as a domestic machine I would definitely recommend this one.

I have been after a sewing machine with a larger throat for a while now. I kept coming back to the q100. I eventually decided to call the shop and seek their advice. What a lovely man. He spent about an hour on the phone asking me what I wanted to sew, how often, fabrics I wanted to use etc. He came up with a list of three and then told me to go away and have a think about it. So I did. And I still came back to the Novum Q100. And how pleased am I. Its a size that's for sure, but not unmanageable. The sewing area is larger than I have been used to and makes for a little work area for pins and such. The needle up/down function is a joy, and the lock stich is too. There are enough functions to be excited by but not over awed by. The touch screen is intuitive and it comes with a paper manual to get you going. The machine also comes with a 1/4" quilting foot, but it does not have a guide, so I bought one that did. The only thing the machine does not have that my regular sewing machine does is a measuring guide printed on it. But I can live without that. It was a lot of money, but most definitely worth every penny. Thank you for your help and guidance and time, it was greatly appreciated.

I’ve been using the Stitchmaster Lifestyle 460 for a few weeks now and I’m really happy with it. I brought this machine after doing some research in what would work best for me and what I plan to sew. It's a lovely machine and works great. I have only used it a few times yet and not used all the functions but I do plan to get in to some projects. It's easy to load the thread, speed control is the button to slide. I do currently refer to the manual on how to set it up and do things which is very detailed. I chose GUR Sewing Superstore as its local to me and if ever needed anything I could pop in to the shop and liaise with the staff. Great buy I'm happy with it.

I ordered from GUR on 2 previous occasions. This is my second Janome sewing machine and it is superb. I have a Janome Sewist 525S, which I've always liked but decided it was time to upgrade to a computerised machine. I decided to go up a couple of notches and I am vert pleased I did. It was an easy transition and this machine is a dream. The only feature I've not tested is the button holes, but I have used the machine to darn so know the button foot works.The machine arrived safely, quickly and the package tracking was perfect.I did not leave a review until after Christmas as this was a present and so only been given a proper outing in the last few days.

I needed a replacement for my old sewing machine. Having purchased the Novum overlocker and a cover stitch machine from GUR, both of which I have been very pleased with, I decided to purchase the Novum sewing machine.I finally tried it out this week and am so pleased with it. It runs very smoothly and is so much quieter than my Janome sewing machine. I tried setting some of the embroidery stitches with pleasing results. I’ve had this machine a few months now, because I wanted to give it a proper use before leaving my review. I bought this machine for free motion quilting, to use on my Freestyle quilting frame - I’d been using a Brother NV1800Q (which also doubles as my main sewing machine) but wanted more throat space.

I used the Novum straight out of the box to quilt a bed sized quilt, and I’m really impressed with it. I’ve used Brother machines for more than a decade and was a bit nervous to buy a machine from a brand unknown to me, but the Novum actually performs better than the Brother with quilting.

The Brother seemed to require a specific combination of needle, thread and speed to get good quality results, but the Novum performed perfectly with whatever combination I gave it - not a single skipped stitch, thread nest, or snapped thread throughout the whole quilt, not even over the thick seams.

I’m extremely impressed with it and am so glad I bought it. Yes it’s big, but it feels really solidly built and performed exactly what I asked of it without drama. 10/10, and if you’re thinking of buying it, you won’t be disappointed.

I bought this Pro Q9 instinctively after struggling to sew layered projects with my main machine. Well, I have to mention I’m really impressed! It produces excellent stitches, has a long arm for handling wider projects, and it effortlessly keeps up with my pedal speed.

I decided to upgrade from my Brother sewing machine, looking for a model with more arm space to accommodate everything from small projects to large quilts. The Novum Pro Q500 has met all my expectations! It includes every feature my Brother lacked: a knee lifter for hands-free presser foot control, faster sewing speeds, consistent stitches (even at high speeds), a built-in thread cutter, a drop-in bobbin and it's still computerised. I’ve even seen quilters use the Novum Pro Q500 on a long-arm rig to topstitch quilts. Although I was initially hesitant about the higher price, I’m thrilled with my choice. I did encounter some minor tension issues during the first few uses, but they quickly resolved, and I haven’t had any problems since. Right now, I’m working on a quilt for my daughter, and it’s coming together beautifully. I would absolutely purchase this machine again and look forward to adding a second Novum in the future, as well as making many quilts for my loved ones.

My husband saw this on your website and thought it would be a good fit, as I was looking for a new machine. Checked it out as machine site were new to me. Using the site was easy straight forward and quick once placed my order was quick to arrive. On arrival machine was as described and on using exceeded my expectation. Very easy to shop on line. Delighted with the Novum Pro 500q. I have upgraded from a domestic sewing machine. And am just studying all the quilting programs and books so I can enjoy quilting and have a bit of confidence to use the machine for its full potential.

I would not be able to afford this machine if I bought it from the manufacturers or another supplier. I received it within a couple of days of my order being processed. It was a very easy ordering experience. I love the fact that there is an option to split the payments into manageable chunks.I am new to sewing, and was a little bit nervous about ordering a brand New machine. The instructional videos on the site are excellent. They are also available on YouTube. The quick threading system and drop and sew bobbin feature are perfect for beginners. The machine itself is joy to use. There are choice of 500 stitches. Some of them are in think it's Chinese or Japanese fonts. They in their own right are very very pretty.I've had to ring the store a couple of times with questions, not about the machine, however I found the customer services excellent.I could not be happier with my purchase. I've shared details of the store with family and friends as I think they are highly recommendable.

My sister bought me this machine as I was looking for a slightly bigger one. I seen this and done loads of research on it but I just kept coming back to it. I knew I had to get it as it was the machine for me..I love how quiet it is and elegant and professional it looks. I haven't played around yet with the stitches or anything else on it. I make quilts and was the perfect machine. For me to experiment with.I would highly recommend this am hone as you get excellent value for money and definitely won't be disappointed.I shall leave another review once I have had it longer and played around with everything it has. But thank you GUR machines for such an excellent value for money machine and I have to say the delivery time was 100% quick.

This machine is terrific value for money. Good quality with lots of features and attachments that you might otherwise find on a much more expensive machine. It is stylish in looks and smooth and efficient in action.

I’m so pleased with this machine. It’s really easy to use and I’m really impressed with the features it offers. Pluses for me are the drop in bobbin and the start stop facility. There are loads of stitch patterns available too. It’s a little fiddly unscrewing the plate to access the parts to oil, but I think that’s me rather than the machine.

Biased in favour of Brother. I love this machine.

Purchased the Innovis F480 shortly after its introduction many years ago. Sadly in October of 2023 she met with a fatal accident. Looked at various machines in the range, decided the F580 would meet my needs. I can download and/or purchase additional embroidery designs as and when, A wide range of stitches to suit everyone from utility to embroidery and alphabets . Easy to use and understand. A novice could sew within an hour. There is guidance built into the machine. The manual is easy to read and follow, read through it first and try things out. Probably additional help on YouTube which I don't use. Staff at GUR were polite and helpful, delivery was as stated on time. Lovely, polite delivery man who said "I bet Santa is glad he's not delivering this!" It is a considered purchase but the F580 is worth every penny and more. Not yet used PE Design2 which came with the machine, look forward to trying it. My young kitten loved the packaging and he played with it for hours.

Purchased as a lightweight and sturdy machine to take to workshops, which if fulfils. Delighted with the range of stitiches, easy to drop feed dogs and the needle threader. A well made machine. I have a Jaguar overlocker and highly recommend this brand. Excellant value for the money.
