Ordering the machine and paying for it was easy and the discounted price was excellent. It arrived in good time and in good condition.
But delivery was terrible. The driver for DPD claimed he had delivered when he had made no attempt. When I complained he returned but refused to bring the machine and the bag up the stairs to my flat, resulting in me having to manage a very heavy box up stairs myself. I was very unhappy and distressed by this and have received no response from DPD about this.
So, very happy with my machine but utterly disgusted by the delivery experience.

Hello you was notified via email that the item was out of stock and if you wanted the order cancelled to notify us....we had no email, phone call fromyou and in the meantime the part came into stock yesterday, this was straight away posted and you was emailed again yesterday that the item was coming to you via Royal Mail.

Having bought and returned two different illuminated magnifiers from Amazon for my sewing, I chanced upon GUR and got exactly what I wanted for the task. Lightweight and without a plastic ring round to make it cumbersome like the others I'd ordered from Amazon. The price was great and the quality of the glass (not plastic) lens was excellent.

I have bought four sewing machines from gur sewing machines now and the friendly and quick service is fantastic. I have been exceptionally happy with all aspects of my purchases. I'll be back!

I cannot say anything about the pattern itself as I haven't seen it yet but I really regret having ordered it from GUR. What in my opinion should be deliverable in a couple of days took almost 2 weeks to get. I planned to sew this outfit for my granddaughter who lives overseas before my visit there. My email enquiry was ignored by GUR and the pattern arrived only after my departure. Not impressed with such service and will not order from this company again.

Bought this machine to use as a backup to my other Jaguar overlocker.
Brilliant machines, so easy to thread due to the fact that the front cover swings out of the way! I have a Janome machine at work and its a nightmare to thread in comparison.
