In October I purchased a Janome MC 8900MCP sewing machine, the machine is a dream to use and the service from GUR is second to none my new machine arrived next day delivery as promised. I have since purchased accessories for my sewing machines on two previous occasions and on each occasion the service received has been excellent. I will continue to use GUR in the future.

I wasn't sure about which was the correct foot holder to buy for my model of machine and the enquiry team were very helpful. The products were then dispatched and arrived promptly and safely. I shall definitely use this site again.

GUR was an excellent company to deal with so far, they were recommended to me by my neighbour and after checking out their reviews online, which were good decided to buy from them. Next day delivery which was very well packed and time slot given - all very professional.
The only disappointment was that the free gift package of threads with scissors did not include scissors and when I phoned customer services they said they had none and they are no longer given.
The Janome GUR 500 worked very well and on the whole I'm very happy with it as it is an improvement on my 41 year old Frister & Rossman - the only thing against it was that it only worked with the light on and the feature of the "extra height lift foot" used for sewing thicker fabrics was only a bit higher and not much of a difference - I expected it to be higher. But other than that it was a pleasure to use and happy I choose this model with the extra GUR guarantee of up to 5 years.
I recommend highly - both GUR and the Janome GUR500.

I bought a Jaguar DS 377 for my daughter's b'day, which she hasn't had yet, so can't comment on the machine. Delivery was fairly quick ( Highland's and Islands can be slow sometimes) . I should like to say more when we've seen the machine in action, it's still in the box it came in.

Excellent customer service and very helpful advice.
Machine arrived on time as agreed with the included accessories.
The previous model was "Good House Keeping" recommended which influenced
my buying decision.
I bought the machine for a Christmas present so will
give a review at a later date when it's had some use.

This was the second machine I have purchased from GUR, the first being a Jaguar 405 sewing machine, both were delivered exactly on time as advised by email.
The advice given when choosing them was very useful-in particular it was pointed out that a special offer was available on the over locker which enabled me to purchase a much higher specification model than the one I was looking at for the same price,and I am delighted with the operation of both machines.

I was buying this as a present, I was looking at another model and wanted it packaged so that it couldn't be identified. I was pointed in the direction of this model because it is computerised and it had a longer warranty, whilst being cheaper because of a great special offer. Really pleased with the response and the service given, G.U.R even put the machine in additional packaging as I wanted to disguise it as it was a gift. I cannot recommend them enough.

I am very pleased with both the Jaguar Supa Lock 486 I purchased from GUR and the help I was given over the phone in deciding which overlocker to buy. The Jaguar Supa Lock comes ready threaded with colour coded thread and an instruction manual which makes rethreading easy.

I am extremely impressed with the customer service  at GUR . Kool was very knowledgeable , asked what I required from a new machine and put forward a few options. I decided to go for the V5 and am extremely pleased with it. This machine is a joy to use and the results are excellent.

I've got an overlock sewing machine delivered to Germany within three days free of charge. It was all perfect. I highly recommend GUR Sewing Machines!

Very satisfied with the online order facility. Website is well laid out and easy to navigate.
My order was dispatched promptly and arrived soon after. The item was enclosed in a padded envelope but I think it needed something more robust. The item ordered was a set of 3 optical magnifiers which could easily have got scratched. In fact, the rigid plastic bubble wrapping had got quite battered in the post.
Despite the issue with the packaging, I am happy with my purchase.

I received these needles on time as usual. GUR are a very reliable company and I have dealt with them for sometime. Initially from the shop that was run in the Blackheath area but I find it difficult to go to the shop in Birmingham. So I now shop online with them if I need anything to do with my sewing machine etc. Will use again.

GUR was a lucky find from a Google search. Needle plate clearly indicating which models it would fit - and it does! A very competitive price and very prompt delivery. An ideal shopping experience and GUR are now in my favourites list for future use.

The Autumn fat quarters are beautiful. I found them at gursewingmachines.com after not being able to track them down online. They were also a better price than others I had seen, and were delivered postage free within a couple of days. I am very happy to have found this site.

I received excellent service from GUR. The website was straight forward and uncomplicated. I could track my order all the way up to delivery and even change last minute delivery instructions. I was totally satisfied with my Brother Overlocker machine and would recommend GUR Sewing Machines.

This item, a jumbo hoop for my Supe rGalaxie 2000 arrived within days. It was very well packaged, but surprisingly still had its original price from ten years ago on it. However the hoop itself is fine and I have already used it several times. I was able to stitch out several patterns with out re-hooping, so it saved me a lot of time. I just wish I had bought it years ago.

While lots of companies nowadays get 5 stars, GUR should get 10 stars This is service at its best!

I was able to visit GUR and while many companies show the machine on their Web Sites, I was very pleased to find that GUR actually held stock of the Pfaff Ambition Essential IDT sewing machine.
I was provided with refreshments while the friendly and very professional owner spent over an hour patiently demonstrating the specific features of the machine. I was in no doubt that the machine would do all I wanted and more.
I know that if I have any questions about using it in the future, I will get a friendly and prompt answer.
I was confident that buying the machine from GUR was the right choice and that future servicing will be carried out in the same professional manner.

I have been extremely pleased with both my shopping experience and purchases from Gur. The Staff were friendly and knowledgable and were able to answer all my questions about the machines and software I had previously researched. The shop is extremely well stocked with machines and to my surprise, a huge array of haberdashery. My purchases were delivered promptly and well within the time frame quoted. After the instruction I received at the shop, I was confident enough, to be able to set up my embroidery machine and produce my first piece of embroidery, within minutes of plugging it in😀. This is great I was fed up buying cheaper stands that broke very easily and were easily knocked down. This is maybe more expensive but it's worth it as is sits atop the machine and will not get knocked down. It was also sent out quickly.

Spoke to Brad on live chat who was very helpful, then ordered the machine online. Was informed all the way along about exactly where the machine was and it was delivered promptly 4 days later. Overall very pleased, but a bit disappointed that the Overlocking thread Brad promised to add to the order never materialised.

I spoke to a lovely advisor called Brad. I had recently ordered the wrong table and he refunded the money straight away, sent me a link for the table I wanted and even gave me 15% off! Great daylight lamp. Simple to put on my sewing machine with the included adhesive strips and the long power lead enables me to attach the lead onto my machine well away from the fabric. Just make sure you are happy with the positioning of the lamp on your machine before you use the adhesive strips as they are designed to be durable and permanent. You are given two mounts for versatility. Arm of the lamp is bendable so I can hone into my work - even threading the sewing needle. I have been using the lamp now for over a month now and I would not be without it. Gives a clear and crisp light. Good buy.

I bought this hoop for my Brother V3, I missed the 6x10 hoop so badly (used on another machine) I am so happy with it, it has saved me endless amounts of stabiliser and works perfect in my machine.

Fantastic scissors, very sharp and comfortable to use. Made be realise how bad my old ones are!! Would recommend.

The original Pfaff light bulb lasted me 12 years with the machine in use every now and then. After exploring amazon and reading reviews from customers who bought sewing machine light bulbs at a very low price but then being disappointed as some won't even work from the very beginning, I decided to go for the light bulbs manufactured by Pfaff - a bit more expensive but I cannot go wrong with a german make light bulb. Delivery from Gur was very fast, I received my light bulbs in 3 days and the light bulb fitted perfectly and worked first time. Hopefully this will last me as long as the last one. Highly recommended :)

I'm in my 84th year. I don't use the machine (Brother XR37N) If I had I'm sure I would have sewn both index fingers to it already. I bought the machine as a gift for my youngest daughter. She has told me she loves it and has modified a pillow for me and I'm loving that. So you see, it hasn't been here long and we're both loving it, what more could you wish for.

I bought this machine for my 10 year old daughter. The machine arrived on time and in good working order. Setting it up took a little while, mainly because I haven't used a machine since I was 10 years old! However, once we got it going, it works very well, she is pleased with the different types of stitches and it is a lovely machine for a beginner, with enough functions to keep her going into her adult years. We are really pleased with it.
