I was more than impressed with the service I received from the staff at GUR who were very friendly ,helpful and professional. The gentleman took his time in helping me choose the right machine for me and you can actually try out the machines to help make your choice. They have machines to suit everyone from a beginner right up to a professional I put myself somewhere in the middle but needed a machine that would cope with most sewing tasks so for my budget I chose a Jaguar DQS 377 and was pleasantly surprised to be told they had a combo offer where I could also purchase the Jaguar 486 overlocker for a very good price. So I am now the proud owner of both these machines plus the extra gifts that came with it. I have never used and overlocker before and was a little bit apprehensive in using one but this machine is easy to use and thread just read the easy to understand instruction guide that comes with it and you will get that professional finish to any garment. I have since had to contact GUR via email and telephone to purchase extra items as they also sell a fantastic range accessories etc and I have still got excellent service. Thank you GUR.......

Wow! Just received my new 8900qcp special edition , that's just 24 hours since I spoke to GUR to ask a question about the machine and then placed an order. DPD delivery service are the best with their trackable details giving real time tracking. So far only taken the machine out of the box and not disappointed, so I'm looking forward to a day of discovery.

When I ordered 6 fat quarters of Noah's Ark Animals 2 by 2 I expected the fabric to arrive in 1 long piece 1.5 meters. I wanted it to back a child's quilt. I was very disappointed when it arrived pre cut. Looking back on your website I have now seen a small 'fabric is precut' note. This is not clear enough.
The fabric is lovely but cut so that I cannot use.
Very disappointed.

I found the web site quite easy to navigate and found just what I wanted. Free postage is a great plus. Looking forward to making up the patterns for grandchildren.

As a newcomer to embroidery, I decided to purchase GUR 's embroidery frames first. The thinking behind this was, that if I was heavy handed and broke the frame it hadn't cost a lot.

However, once I received them I couldn't tell the difference between the Brother frames and the GUR ones. I am really impressed with the quality and sturdiness of them, it belies the cost.

I would have no problem in recommending them.

BLISS! That sums up my feeling when I started sewing: my machine no longer disconnected in mid-sewing for no particular reason. I obviously had a faulty foot control - it's going back to Janome.

I couldn't buy the machine as if had been damaged but I was offered an excellent alternative at a really good price and I'm really pleased with it. The customer service provided by GUR is fantastic, other companies should take note!

This is the second machine I have bought from them. My first was a Brother 4234D Overlocker. I have already recommended GUR to other buyers.

The Brother Innovis NV750E is an excellent machine, very easy to thread, lots on onboard patterns. It's also a very quiet machine in operation.

Came ready threaded which was great and to change thread just tied it to one on there and let it run through, so no problem / need to re thread.

Only hiccup ordered thread and only received 3 instead of 4 bobbins of cotton.

Could not find this particular fabric anywhere in the USA, and was thrilled to find it here - fabric was reasonable, website easy to click through, shipped very quickly and with minimal cost, arrived well packaged and everything in my experience was perfect! Good service. They arrived on time and were good quality. Toy filling bag much bigger than I expected so filled both mini toys with most of the packet still left over for other projects. I made them for my children and they are very happy with them.

GUR provided a very good service. My order arrived very quickly. The bobbins were a bit of a disappointment as the they must have changed the design. There are no slots to put the thread through to make for easier threading and even winding on the bobbin, but that is not the fault of GUR

My only problem was trying to order Jaguar sewing feet on your web site, it took so long I gave up and contacted customer service to order. This is the only reason for me awarding a 4 star rather than a 5 star.

So far it has been a very good purchase, easy to familiarise with. But i have not done anything very challenging yet.

My hoop took rather longer than I expected to arrive, however it was with me within a week so I can't really complain.
When I phoned to enquire about it, the customer service representative what very helpful and polite.
I was a little surprised to receive it with no packaging, Husqvarna hoops usually come in a card sleeve with the Husqvarna logos etc on. I have no reason to doubt its authenticity however.

Although I knew what I wanted before visiting GUR, when I arrived the guys were very helpful and friendly. I was able to see a machine set up ready and try before buying. I then placed my order for delivery to my home address. The order arrived on time and well packaged.
The machine itself is very easy to operate and performs very well. If you are unsure about how to use a machine like this there are plently of YouTube videos to help you out.
I would definitely recommend the supplier and the machine.

Not the speediest despatch and delivery. Had to email to ask where it was after several days from ordering. Overedge Foot is okay and kind of does the job, but I thought I'd be getting something superior to my cheaper Amazon one by buying a genuine Janome part; unfortunately it's not really.

Which was great because when I set my mind on something, I want it yesterday. Lol this is a dream to use. Having never used one before.

It will certainly help immensely when making dolls clothes as they are fiddly to turn back a hem twice and bulky. No need with this to stabilise the edges. Just turn back once. I also bought the invisible hem foot. Love that even more.

I'd bought my daughter a machine from GUR before Christmas, and had purchased an open toe free motion foot from a different supplier. Mistake! It didn't fit the machine. So I contacted GUR, who were very knowledgeable about the differences between each machine. The foot arrived quickly, fits, and my daughter is delighted with it. Can't really ask for more than that!

I have been looking for a while for a smaller hoop for my Creative 1.5 to do smaller projects and this one seemed to fit the bill. I have used the 'light' inner hoop so far and it worked very well and am pleased with the result.
