Our sewing machine arrived a day earlier than predicted! The van driver who happened to be in the area called the previous afternoon having our delivery on board and as we were at home received the machine earlier. Well done and thanks for a good service!

I was looking for a bobbin doughnut and found GUR. They were much less costly than other suppliers with free postage. So I ordered from them. The order arrived very quickly. Everything I needed was there to order, however, the order was made on 19th June...it is now 26th June and I still have not received my goods. Surely it can't take a week to send a few reels of thread! Sorry, but Disappointing service.

I am delighted with my new Elna trolley bag although I had to modify it to accommodate my large Elna 730 Excellence sewing machine.
When I researched accessories for my new sewing machine I discovered that Elna does not make a cover for this particular model. It does however make a bag for the slightly smaller 620 model.
The bag was very easy to modify, I simply undid the seam on the end of each side piece, which are inserted to give the bag it's rigidity, and removed the plywood. This gave me the extra two centimetres that I needed to fit in the machine. I left in the soft flexible polystyrene which was either side of the plywood so sides are still firm enough to give bag it's shape. I am delighted with the bag.
the package arrived today 21 june 2013 - it took a little bit longer than expected however all products are great as expected.

It's great to have found a sewing website that offers free delivery on everything. Some companies want £2.99 delivery when u only want an item that cost £1.25! So I don't usually buy small sewing items online, but I will now buy from you again thanks to your free delivery.

I noticed the difference with the motor straight away, it runs so smooth and the handy switch on the pedal that controls the speed is great.
I set it to slow so that even if my foot slips it will still go at a steady pace.
Really happy with the machine, just wish it came a bit sooner, ordered it on a Saturday and got it on a Tuesday, getting it delivered on the Monday would have helped.
