I bought this machine for my husband, he was always using mine. I am so jealous.

It is amazing and he is doing so well considering he has only ever sewn skin before. (He was a surgeon) now he has made a quilt which is the envy of al of our children and has a lot of orders from them.

I have not had a look in so far but i am biding my time for when he has a day off. It runs like a dream, so quiet and very easy to manage. The extras are really good. Wish i had one too.

I went to see GUR Sewing Machines at their shop in Birmingham so I could see the 8200, and they were lovely, I had a demonstration, I was shown all of the basics and more. I already have a Janome but have been looking for a new item for quite a while. As soon as I started using this item I had to have it, works so very good, the quality is fantastic, definitely worth the trip to Birmingham. Highly recommend.

The New Janome Memory Craft 8200QCP combines practicality with an exciting range of easy to use features. This machine is consistent and reliable for all your sewing needs with the luxury of added space.

The sheer length of the arm space is impressive at 11" ( 280mm ) .. ideal for large quilts, bridal dresses and those bigger home furnishing projects. And it's powerful ... reaching speeds of up to 1000 stitches per minute. Nevertheless even at those speeds stitch quality is a priority. With a built-in AcuFeed system for precise fabric handling.

Shadow free lighting is provided by 5 bright white lights whilst quick and easy stitch selection can be made on the large touch panel. Choose from over 224 stitches including alphabets and numbers, including some great fun play stitches.

Other special features include an automatic needle threader, speed controller to set your maximum sewing speed and stop / start button if you choose not to use the foot control. It also has a needle up / down button which programs the needle to either finish in the up position or in the fabric ... great for pivoting on corners ! It has a lock stitch button to ensure every stitch pattern is locked off at the end and even an automatic thread cutter to trim your threads.

Great before and after sales service comes as standard when you buy a sewing machine from us at GUR Sewing Machines.

Your new product would have gone through the manufactures quality control before been delivered to you.

In the unlikely event you experience a problem with your sewing machine, overlocker or embroidery machine for the duration of your warranty, please contact us via email quoting your order number and a brief description of the fault.

We will then arrange a telephone call with you to go through some simple diagnostics with you. Often this helps to rectify the problem over the phone quicker.
We will repair your machine as swiftly as possible. We will arrange to collect your product. Please retain your original sewing machine box and polystyrene inserts as this will ensure it is protected during transit.

Warranty Registration

There is no need to register your warranty.

Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase.

The product warranty is nontransferable should the machine be sold or given away at a later date.
