Beautiful fabric. I purchased this for a border on a scrappy quilt - which contains the same pattern with multi-coloured butterflies on a black background. The majority of the quilt is a gradation of blue - and that matches the butterflies on the white background perfectly. Fast delivery too, so many thanks.

I can thoroughly recommend GUR & wouldn't hesitate to use them again should the need arise. I had a very good and amusing demonstration of Jaguar overlockers, with no pressure to buy. The ex display one that I bought was a bargain price and I am delighted with it. The store is a sewer's paradise with so many fabrics & beautiful threads on display, also a very comprehensive room full of haberdashery.
If you decide to visit just check on opening hours (which I didn't & had to return another day, my own fault.).

Exceptional service , ordered thurs evening, delivered monday afternoon. Kept informed of order progess along the way and given the option of changing the delivery time with plenty of notice, which not all companies do.
The Novum Supalock is a sturdy bit of kit, with a robust feel to it. As a complete beginner I wanted a machine that was easy to use and thread. It is, and the instructional dvd on threading was extremely useful. The paper manual is thorough, haven't had to resort to you tube videos to be able to use it! In my opion the stitch quality is very good, my only frame of reference for that is a comparison with a Janome overlocker that i've used in my beginners sewing class. I think the Novum is the better machine.

I’m always a bit dubious ordering from new companies as there are so many “dodgy” ones out there, but GUR Sewing Machines didn’t disappoint.

My embroidery hoop arrived within a few days, as described, securely packaged and with nearly £10 off the price elsewhere, so I was very pleased!

Very pleased with my gathering foot. I used it on my very old Janome overlocker 434D and was delighted with the result. I have not used this overlooked to its full potential and am so pleased that I am able
I obtain extra feet for it. I recently bought the blind stitch foot from GUR which also have great results. With these new extras I am making much more adventurous use of this 20+ year old overlocker. I will certainly be looking for more items in the future.

Excellent customer service and value for money!..... I finally purchased a Jaguar 489 overlocker after doing loads of on line research and also having spoken to GUR about several models and weighed up their very helpful advice. On receipt, at first I struggled to get the stitches correct, being my first ever overlocker, but having called GUR for advice, I received a phone call from Palma, who talked me through the correct settings, I persevered and sent photos of the results of my test stitches at different settings through, as he suggested. Palma then took the time to call me again and look at the photo samples with me, explaining things very thoroughly. He also sent me the free January offer of a handheld steamer immediately when I queried if I was eligible, so all in all, I cannot fault the customer service I received, it is refreshing to get such great pre and post purchase support. I highly recommend GUR and will certainly be buying again from you again, and thank you for your patience as a novice overlocker sewer! And finally, after speaking with Palma only two days ago for advice, I have now made my first knit fabric item, ever, and all on the Jaguar. It was so quick and easy to do, and looks great!

Absolutely delighted with my new sewing machine. It's made a huge difference to my productivity and although expensive it's worth every penny. GUR Sewing Machines have equally been lovely to deal with (I had an issue with a double order that was sorted out without any hassle). Will def be using this website and company going forward.

My Stitchmaster arrived within about 3 days, really fast considering I live in France. Unfortunately the instructions to the machine were missing, so I called GUR by phone and a copy was sent to me straight away. This is the second machine I have purchased online from GUR and I highly recommend them, delivery is quick and reliable and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I have never actually been to the store but next time I am around Birmingham, I will make a point of popping in to thank them personally. Top shop!!
 

I have been very impressed, not only with the actual machine but the customer service has been brilliant. I have had a couple of issues, the biggest one being a damaged extension table, but responses to emails has been prompt and no quibble regarding replacement, making the overall shopping experience with GUR a pleasure. Went to the store for advice as I had not heard of Jaguar sewing machines. Was given tutorial and advice, difference of machines explained and much knowledge of all makes obvious. I chose a Jaguar DQS 377 computerised machine. Now happily sewing even quilting a jacket with ease. Beautiful to use. Would always recommend this firm, great service and back up help if needed.

My wife found the sewing machine that she wanted and it was and ex-display model with the full warranty and at a very good price, so we purchased it online on the GUR sewing superstore website.

The whole ordering and purchasing process was easy and quick to do and we were offered the opportunity to pay over two months, which we accepted. Highly recommended.

Very helpful on the telephone before I proceeded with my order. This took a bit longer than I had anticipated to arrive but it did not matter as I was not in a hurry.

I had been looking for this banner for quite a while. I ordered it the evening of 9th January this year. I could not believe the speed of the delivery. It arrived first post on the 11th January. The service and efficiency of this transaction was first class. The package was well wrapped and suffered no damage . I would definitely desl with this company again.

Product was received very quickly from order. With the option of paying over two months provided an additional advantage with placing order using GUR. The product was in good quality, and is suitable for my wife's needs. I would have no hesitation with using GUR again, or to recommend them to anyone.

My order was processed and dispatched promptly.

The problems I had were with Seur and the delivery in Spain.

What a total shambles! I eventually got my machine by luck, as the driver was talking to someone on the street about my order after trying to deliver it 2 days earlier to the wrong address.

Even the delivery driver stated ' my company are useless'.

I wouldn't mind but the correct address was on one of the 2 stickers on the box!!!!!
 

Got my first sewing machine from Gur and I am so happy with my purchase.

Had a small problem with the treader and it was rectified immediately. I have since ordered all my sewing accessories, which I am delighted with quick delivery, high quality products and all at a very reasonable price.

This table is solid, well designed, feels good and feels like it won't snag material. The cutout fitted perfectly. The engineer who delivered it was pleasant and courteous and took the allotted 90 minutes to build the table. I guess I hadn't realised it came flat pack, but with a man to put it together. You are left with a few quite large cartons and a lot of expanded polystyrene. This the price of 21st century global economy.

I'm not sure I can assess vfm since it's such a specialist product, made in China from an Australian company - but considering how solid it feels the price seems fair. Not used in anger yet, so at this point - recommended.

The rotary blade sharpener arrived very quickly and was well packed.
Not used it yet but it looks good.

Excellent service. They were let down by their courier who failed to collect my order, but they voluntarily paid the extra for a Saturday delivery so I wouldn't have to wait.

This was exactly what I needed. After a failed attempt through eBay(another seller), I contacted the GUR customer service and they were so helpful.

They ensured I didn't make the same mistake again.

I have always received great service from GUR and from now on it shall be my first port of call.

Although I purchased this in November, it was a Christmas present to me from a friend.

So I did not open it till Christmas and only used it after Christmas Day. It fit my sewing table perfectly.

What a great light 3 different setting all with really good light, well worth the money at half price.
