Great experience thanks, you were prompt with delivery and quick to respond to my questions. The recipient is delighted with her present. The only thing was that I wasn't in when it was first delivered and I had no way of specifying what to do with it in that case, so it was taken away. I know I wouldn't be in the next day so I contacted the deliverers and asked for it to be left in the woodshed in my back yard. Instead they left it in the front yard.

Throughout this trauma Gursewing machines were most obliging and good humored though the delivery service here in France is diabolical. Not the fault of Gursewing machines. I am sure that DPDS is a good firm but once received here in France into the hands of Chronopost the result can be very different. This is the 3rd purchase I've made from Gur. Everything I have ordered has arrived in a few days to Australia ! all intact and well packaged and cheaper than Australian prices.

I love this machine. It is a dream to use and gives me so many options of stitches to choose from. The ability to create my own stitch patterns is amazing. The foot pedal is a great size and the cutter pedal is very useful as it means I can cut the end thread without taking my hand away from the fabric. The cloth guide is brilliant, every seam is perfect. This is the best machine I have ever had.

The service I received was excellent.I ordered late in the day and Steven still managed to ensure I received my Brother overlocker the next day.I have been using it constantly since and am very pleased with it.I wish I had purchased one years ago.I would highly recommend the Brother, especially if like me you are getting to know all the knit fabrics which are now on the market.Thank you again GUR for your service.

As always fast service and courteous customer service, even when my items are not in stock I get them as soon as they are back in stock, the customer service team are a great bunch of people and I have bought loads of lovely goodies for my Pfaff sewing and embroidery machine knowing that it will be compatible and if I need help using it the team has always assisted with extra instructions for a novice user like me.

Excellent delivery service and would order from you again although you could not delivery the scissors when you said due to waiting for stock to be replenished l did not have to wait very long for them, they are very handy for snipping threads close to the sewing needle in the machines also l am left handed so l can use them with no problems.

Ordered these items (2 extra feet for my Janome 8900 QCP) and they arrived very promptly. I have bought from GUR for a number of years, in fact my Janome machine and many accessories and I have always had excellent service - and would not hesitate to recommend this company. It is my go to website for everything connected with sewing machines (I have 3 machine) and accessories. Long may they continue.

Used this glue for gluing my girls tulle skirt. Works perfectly - only have to be patient and wear disposable gloves. If wait enough - 3-5 minutes - then carefully peal off gluing parts from gloves and they stay together. If a little bit too short in waiting - then even though gluing parts do come apart then just press with fingers - and they stay together. And if completely didn't wait enough (as I did from the very start) - seems like they glue doesn't work at all. I guess you have to let the glue dry out by itself a little bit. I had lots of practising as the skirt had lots of holes in it.

I bought this foot to put some ribbon around some baby blankets. It is a considered purchase when it comes to a foot for a sewing machine but it is absolutely worth it. It works like a dream with no effort whatsoever. My satin ruffles look very professional and neat as all the ruffles are the same distance apart. If you are intending to make more than a couple of items with ruffles then don't hesitate, just go for it.

As always quality of thread is the tops. Colours are true to descriotion. Customer Service is constantly spot on and very friendly and helpful.. Prices are extremely competitive. Can say honestly an overall very good experience shopping with GUR.

Easy to order. Delivery could have been a little quicker and the patterns could have done with being packaged better. Having said that, I would order from them again.

Good Points
The web site gives the postal address, landline telephone number and email address. I had a question about my intended purchase, so I telephoned GUR Sewing Machines. The phone was answered quickly, and my query was sorted immediately. As I was already on the phone I placed my order (on a Saturday). They gave me a delivery day of Tuesday, and my machine arrived (free of charge) by courier at my work address as requested on the correct day. The goods were extremely well packaged and secure. The sewing machine also included a free set of 4 scissors with a wooden storage block, 4 1000 yds polyester threads, a tape measure and a carry case for the machine.

Bad Points
Not a bad point really - just a slight hiccup - the foot pedal was missing from the package. This was sorted out quickly over the phone, and she also included a free pack of sewing machine needles for the inconvenience.

General Comments
I can't fault GUR Sewing Machines for good service. Phone calls were answered virtually by the third ring. As I ordered my goods over the phone I cannot comment about online ordering, but the service I received was extremely good, and I thought I got value for my hard earned cash. By the way, I am extremely pleased with my new Janome sewing machine.

I am continuously shopping online and received one of the best possible services from GUR. I called up the helpline and spoke to the sales team.

The gentleman talked me through a range of machines and found me the perfect machine which sew's a dream. Once ordered the machine came the very next day before 12 noon along with a free gift.

Cannot fault the service I have received in the slightest, if only all online purchase were as perfect as this.

I bought a couple of sewing machines from GUR - a Janome Coverlock machine, and a Budget ex-Demo Pfaff Hobbylock 2.0. As it happens, GUR had run our of their ex-demo machines, so they sent me a brand new one without hesitation!I ordered a number of attachments at the same time and I was really impressed that every single item was in stock ( not one item had to remain on back order ) and everything was delivered safe and sound in very short order!

The Janome worked brilliantly straight from the box as you would expect from such a highly respected company. I could not be happier with this purchase!

Unfortunately, I had a number of problems with the Pfaff that appeared to stem from unusual issues with the tension devices on the machine. I ran a number of tests with the machine, cleaned out the tension controls, but it still exhibited significant problems. This is a great shame, as the machine is quite pretty and, when it works properly, produces nice pretty stitches - for an overlocker. 

The sales manager from GUR rang me personally and we talked through the specific problems I had in great detail. As a result of that conversation, he agreed to swap the problem machine out, and I upgraded instead to a Janome 6234XL, paying only the difference in price.

Within days, the new machine was with me and worked brilliantly - even on the factory supplied threads with which the machine was supplied. The result is ... one very happy and satisfied customer.

On the evidence of this experience, I would say that GUR take customer service and satisfaction very seriously indeed. I will be going back to them fairly soon for my next purchase - a Janome 6600P!

I was over the moon with service i recieved on purchasing my new sewing machine, i originally ordered a different model, but had message to say it was no longer available and would i like to choose a different one .

The staff were very helpful and i decided on the the Janome 2200xt . All i can say that it is superb , so easy to set up and sews lovely, i had the gold package deal with it, which also received beautiful cottons, pins, scissors needles , tape measure bobbins, just wonderful.

So glad i found you on google and have recommended you to family colleagues. Now thats how a company should be run .
