Bought the Janome and I am delighted with it. Took only one hour to understand all the threading, plain machining and even the complicated patterns. Loved the extension table and quilting foot but will not be using the steam press. Very good price even without the extras

Bought as a gift for my 69 year old mother to replace a 1960s brother machine.
Easy to understand instructions for use.
Good sewing have done curtains and taken up trousers already removeable part makes this so easy
neadle eye is small but same on all machines
Fast delivery my only problem the emails for dispatch and delivery went into spam folder.

We have just received our order days from the order date. I think that this is pretty good considering that we are in Southern Spain. My wife has not had time to try out the machine yet (still reading the instructions)but the machine arrived undamaged so she is looking forward to getting down to some serious sawing in the near future. I initially ordered DS140 machine for my wife. As soon as I placed the order online a chap phoned to say that there were big problems with this machine and said that he's send the NV10a instead, which was exactly the same price. I was a bit dubious at first because my wife chose that machine because it was quite small, I needn't have worried because this machine is still a nice little compact one. What really amazed me was the fact that it arrived the very next day, within the one hour time schedule set by the carriers. It hasn't been used yet, but judging by the service I have had so far, I should imagine any unlikely problems will be sorted out for me. It would be interesting to know what problems the DS140 had though. Brilliant service, thank you.
