Could not find the plastic bobbin cover for the needle plate anywhere on the website. These parts do wear and then they don't close properly so it would be good to know that replacements are available.

I am really pleased with the Jaguar 401. It is easy to use and does everything I need for crafts and dressmaking. I’ve tries it out on a variety of fabrics with no problems. It feels strong but not too heavy.
The only minor point I would make is that the food pedal lead is not long enough to go over the back of my sewing table out of the way.

When i wanted to buy this item it was out of stock, but i was able to leave my contact details and would be informed when it was in stock. This was done very quickly and it arrived very soon afterwards. I received excellent service.

The extension table, for my machine, once it finally arrived, is excellent and I am delighted with it but the shopping experience was not the best!
You passed the order to Janome Uk to expedite directly and the first thing I received from them was a delivery note for my table in a small package, accompanied by a pack of 5 sewing machine needles which I had not ordered, but no table.
Helen at Janome apologised profusely and arranged to have the table sent urgently via DPD. It arrived the next morning (Sat) but without the 6 legs required for it to fit my machine.
On Monday Helen again apologised and had the legs despatched by first class post. They arrived the next day and I was finally able to enjoy using the table.
Many thanks to Helen for her help, and for the complimentary needles which she suggested I keep, but zero points to the warehouse staff at Janome!
As someone who has worked in customer service, I was more amused than annoyed by the experience but trust this is not the norm for their customers!

The item met my expectations, and was very reasonably priced. There is the option of a discount on your first and future orders if you subscribe to their 'club'...(no cost involved).
Order received within a couple of days....I would certainly use this company again.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my order as the item ended up being out of stock but my refund was issued quickly without any problems. Have ordered from GUR before and highly recommend them.

I've only been able to use my new Brother overlocker a couple of times, though I've already finished a full garment with it. The machine seems to straight up purr when I use it. Threading hasn't been a challenge for me. The instructions are quite clear, and there are video's up on YouTube about it as well. I foresee a very happy future for me and this machine.

Delivery was good, although I didn’t receive an email to say the goods were on the way, as originally stated in the order confirmation.
Apart from that the service was very good.
I always get my Janome accessories from GUR.

Delivered the next day. Pre threaded. I’ve never used one before and it was a treat. So fast. It become unthreaded but was vey easy to do. Love it.

I cant comment on the products I purchased ad O bought for my daughter.

Delighted with my purchase of the Brother 3034DWT overlocker. It is easy to use - at least for the basics of 3 & 4 thread overlocking, rolled hems and different stick widths/lengths which is all I've tried so far. It is genuinely easy to thread - even the lower looper. Speed is very easy to control. My only minor criticisms are that it is a tad noisy and that the light is not brilliant. Fine for sewing but I like additional light when threading the needles and removing/replacing the needles.

I have yet to try the open toe walking foot but am optimistic.

This machine is a dream. It has so many features and although I haven't tried them all yet I am very happy so far. It is so smooth when sewing and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is.
This is my second machine from GUR and I would not hesitate to buy form them again as they are a fantastic company to deal with.

Brilliant sewing machine, it's fantastic a wide range of stitches, couldn't have asked for more, and it was an ex-display so saved me £100 , I originally ordered the wrong machine on line but phoned them up the next day they changed the order and posted it out the same day, couldn't have asked for better service.

GUR despatched the sewing machine very quickly and it arrived only a few days after ordering.
I bought an ex display model, very pleased with it. It's been oiled and works well. The automatic needle threaded doesn't work, possibly damaged from use as a display model. Otherwise a really good machine and I am enjoying using it.

I hesitated (a little) before buying this foot for my Innov-is VQ2 but am so glad I did! It is very quiet, much more so than the standard walking foot, and feeds the material through perfectly. I do a lot of quilting and it copes with all the layers including batting, and transitions to purely two layers of fabric when needed without having to change over to a "normal" foot. No hesitation in recommending it, and the GUR service is second to none.

Four stars simply because I haven't used the foot yet, but it arrived very promptly and the price point was competitive.
