Delighted with my purchase of the Brother 3034DWT overlocker. It is easy to use - at least for the basics of 3 & 4 thread overlocking, rolled hems and different stick widths/lengths which is all I've tried so far. It is genuinely easy to thread - even the lower looper. Speed is very easy to control. My only minor criticisms are that it is a tad noisy and that the light is not brilliant. Fine for sewing but I like additional light when threading the needles and removing/replacing the needles.

I have yet to try the open toe walking foot but am optimistic.

This machine is a dream. It has so many features and although I haven't tried them all yet I am very happy so far. It is so smooth when sewing and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is.
This is my second machine from GUR and I would not hesitate to buy form them again as they are a fantastic company to deal with.

Brilliant sewing machine, it's fantastic a wide range of stitches, couldn't have asked for more, and it was an ex-display so saved me £100 , I originally ordered the wrong machine on line but phoned them up the next day they changed the order and posted it out the same day, couldn't have asked for better service.

GUR despatched the sewing machine very quickly and it arrived only a few days after ordering.
I bought an ex display model, very pleased with it. It's been oiled and works well. The automatic needle threaded doesn't work, possibly damaged from use as a display model. Otherwise a really good machine and I am enjoying using it.

I hesitated (a little) before buying this foot for my Innov-is VQ2 but am so glad I did! It is very quiet, much more so than the standard walking foot, and feeds the material through perfectly. I do a lot of quilting and it copes with all the layers including batting, and transitions to purely two layers of fabric when needed without having to change over to a "normal" foot. No hesitation in recommending it, and the GUR service is second to none.

Four stars simply because I haven't used the foot yet, but it arrived very promptly and the price point was competitive.

The process of ordering online was very easy and straightforward. Everything went through quickly. Table arrived exactly when they said. Brilliant! would use again.

I bought a sewing machine from GUR 18 months ago so they were my first choice for an overlocker. The website gave loads of detail about the machines so I was clear what I’d be getting. Excellent prices, faultless speedy delivery and the overlocker does exactly what I need it to. Perfect!

This item arrived quickly despite the Xmas posts - was able to complete my sewn gifts as a result. Very pleased and would use this company again.

Delivery of this machine was super quick, arrived before suggested date. Machine is very well built and weighty. Easy to thread. As with all machines, going to take a while to get used to it, but it makes a beautiful job on finishing off knit garments. Professional finish. Still working out how to release the fabric at the end as threads seam to stay on the underside of the guide and presser foot and if you pull away like on a regular machine, the threads just snap. Brother has a great set of tutorial videos on YouTube so working my way through those. So far I've not been successful with the hemming attachment but i shall persevere. All in all...... Love this machine, good middle price range model, does what it's meant to.

Very good sewing machine. I'm very happy with your service and the machine. Just tried it now as I was abroad since I bought the machine from GUR. It's just what I was looking for, it's working perfectly. Thank you.

I purchased an overlocker for a present for a friend and as it was close to Christmas I phoned GUR to check delivery times, I was honestly advised that they were waiting for stock and had been advised by Brother that it would be in the next two weeks, but GUR had no control over this. I was advised that if I wanted a refund that would be fine,. I did manage to find another company with stock and so ordered elsewhere. I phoned GUR and no questions asked money was refunded. I was so impressed with their honestly and transparency and in the future would certainly be happy to order machine from GUR.
 

As the Brother machine didn't turn up on the December shipment, GUR offered me the options of.
1. A refund
2. Wait for the January shipment although it could not be guaranteed that the machine would be on that shipment.
3. The offer of two similar models at no extra cost.

We chose the Jaguar 489 with a list price approximately £50 above our original payment.
The machine turned up within a couple of days, well in time for Christmas and I cannot sing the praised of GUR customer service too highly.

I was a bit confused at first as I was not sure what the name of the item was I looking was but once I found the type of machine I have and the model I just looked at the pictures until I found what I wanted. Was delivered before the day that was originally quoted so that was a bonus.

Fast and efficient service. I was so pleased to be able to replace my spool holder as one of the holders had broken. The clear photo on the website helped me to decide that it was the correct part for my machine. It was easy to fit.

I’ve bought quite a few items of this company the latest being a new Brother Innov-is A16 which they priced matched. They’re not a bit pushy but are so helpful. If you have a query you can phone them up and they’ll explain what you need.
Delivery is also quick. Would highly recommend them.

Item arrived quickly as usual with Gur. This magnifying lens is going to make such a difference trying to thread finer needles and twin needles. Also comes with a little cover to protect the lens.

We purchased this lock over for my Son who is starting sewing 🧵 as part of his stroke therapy he showed us your sight and as we are both in our 80’s we found it very easy to use unfortunately a technical error occurred during ordering with the delivery address we contacted customer support abs they were fantastic very helpful and we thank them very much - I am sure our son will be over the moon at Christmas

Got this as a birthday treat for myself as I needed one with a longer arm to do free motion. I already own another Brother machine it is over 10years old a working work horse daily as I am quilting regularly.. NV1800 is a real Quilters dream machine it basically has everything foot in the machine you don't need to purchase anything . I am sure you will find something thing you might want to but over all there is ample tools (foot ) for you to play with and keep you happy.
There is so much to learn from the machine so many programs. What I love best is the auto sensor on the machine it is excellent. Especially when I am doing free motion quilting it moves so smoothly so easily throughout the table of the machine I am not constantly fighting it like I do with the old one.. Also tried the Alphabet font and the font is a good size there are a few to choose from you can choose your spacing gaps. So there is still quite a lot to learn on this machine I have tried a couple of different foots on it . and still learning it and finding new things on it and getting used to the knee lifter .Did not know how much I would enjoy using this machine especially it is so quiet and and quick . Just love everything about it!!👌👍
