Very happy with machine and quick delivery, only down side I thought GUR might be interested to know is that DPD left it (box was not double wrapped and clearly showed the contents) in an outside porch by a main road in the pouring rain - a bit worrying for a high value item 😬 luckily it was only a bit soggy on outside!

I bought the machine paid for it expecting it to be delivered and I got a email saying it is no longer in stock it should be saying the item was out of stock before I bought the machine so really I was not happy but I got a refund

So sorry Anita, The weekend you ordered was so busy and we had no staff working the weekend to take the item of the website, we had 3 of the Brother Cover hem machines in stock and had sold 5, we ended up disappointing another customer.

We always offer to provide the product as soon as back in stock and on this occasion you requested a refund which was refunded ASAP.

Great service ordered received despatch confirmation an hour later and my machine arrived first thing the next morning. Machines out of stock at most suppliers but lots in stock here.

I ordered a pin tuck foot for my Brother sewing machine, it had to be compatible with my machine. GUR had listed every code for most sewing machines and so I was able to chose the correct foot for my machine with confidence. Other websites I visited for spares didn’t give any or as much information about their products as GUR. The foot arrived promptly and was perfect for my machine. I would happily purchase from them again.

I was a little bit nervous of buying online as in normal times I would have shopped locally, however I had a conversation and some advice as to which machine to buy with a lovely straight talking man called Parmar (hope I've spelt that right) who put my mind at rest. I ordered straight away and received my lovely machine 2days later. Unfortunately the machine was broken but Parmar, true to his word sent out a replacement straight away and picked up the original machine at the same time. Still learning how to use my new machine, got one to grow into but am pleased with it so far. 5/5 for customer service.

I made an online purchase and unfortunately the item was out of stock. GUR contacted the supplier for me and was told that the item was out of stock for 4 mths, my money was returned by GUR immediately.

The friendly staff maintained contact with me to keep me updated throughout.

My only reason for giving 4 stars is because the item was out of stock and and my order wasn't fulfilled.

I ordered my new Janome online through the GUR website. The communication was excellent and I had updates on my order progress. My new machine arrived the next day in excellent condition and exactly when it was supposed to. Really happy with my Janome 5060 QDC a fantastic machine. 10/10 for service from GUR, many thanks.

I bought a Brother 4234D Overlocker from GUR for my Wife. It was her first overlocker and hadn't realised that this Brother Overlock Blind Stitch Foot (XB3624001) was the very one that was included with the overlocker and went ahead and ordered one separately from GUR. The mistake was only realised when it was too late to cancel the order and it had been dispatched. I spoke to Parma at GUR and explained the situation. He was incredibly understanding and trusting. He refunded my full purchase price on the understanding that I would return it when it arrived which I have now done. The blind stitch foot itself, according to my Wife, works perfectly. This is more a review of the impeccable service and customer focus of GUR Sewing. Thank you.

The service I received from GUR Sewing Machines was excellent. I ordered the machine on a Sunday evening 27th December & it was delivered by the Wednesday, even though there was a Bank Holiday in between. The order process was simple and I was kept fully updated by both GUR & the courier about the stages of delivery.

The package was late because of Covid but the team was very good and told me they'd send another one if it didn't arrive. They answered quickly and kindly. I highly recommend this company!

I ordered from the U.S.A. Just a couple of weeks for delivery and the foot is just what I wanted. I am very pleased with the foot and the customer service.

A fantastic iron,heavier than my last one and takes a wee while to get used to not sitting it upright but it's so easy to work and presses nicely.
Switches it's self off, which for me is the most important thing, as I've left an iron on and gone out or to bed quite a few times.
The only negative thing I'd say is that the directions say to empty out the water when finished, now I don't usually do this( hence irons being left on in the past) but as it's an expensive iron I thought I'd do this, but it is NOT that easy to do and I ended up almost scalded and with a very wet sleeve. So now, if I know I've only got a short time to sew/quilt then I only put a small amount of water in, it's easier to add in more than take it out.
Apart from that point I'm very pleased with it.

I'm working late in evening after kids go to sleep, the machine working so quiet i am enjoying to work with it. love it so much.

It only took 13 days from the time I ordered until I received the package. However, I was missing a tracking number so I could follow the package. But I am happy with my order and the fast service from England to Denmark.
