Our local agent told us that we would not get the Brother sewing machine we wished to give our granddaughter for Christmas until January. We place our order on-line with you at around 2.30pm on a Wednesday and it was delivered the following day at 8.20am We were amazed at your speed. We have not opened the box yet as that will be done on Christmas day.

The buying experience and delivery was excellent and everything looks in order. It's a Christmas present, so the overlocker hasn't been used yet, but it's clear to see it's brand new.

Parmjit from GUR Sewing was very helpful in the purchase of the Brother A150 sewing machine. He also agreed to send the extension table WT13 as a complimentary accessory to the machine,which was fantastic. We received the order the next day via DPD. My wife is very happy with her new machine and we would like to say a big thank you to all at GUR Sewing.

I had very good experience purchasing a sewing machine from GUR. The only reason for a 4 * is that there were some parts missing from the package. However, GUR replaced the missing parts within a week. Excellent customer service.

I bought my amazing Janome sewing machine from
GUR Sewing in May this year and i have found i am able to purchase all my machine accessories from here too. Last month I purchased twin needles, the finish they give to a hem or cuff is really neat, I shall be purchasing more items from GUR Sewing in the future as they are good price and the parcels always arrive well packed and are delivered quickly . I did a lot of research on the sewing machine that I eventually bought. I asked you a lot of questions and you answered them.
Unfortunately I did not receive it next day but this was more to do with DPD's driver and not yourselves.
I have been using it and it is amazing. The best part of the machine is the automatic needle threader even better than my other machine that I own.

Machine arrived next day. 5*. It is a lot lighter and slimmer than my previous machine. Love the automatic needle threader. Works a treat. Ideal machine for beginner/intermediate sewer.

We wanted to buy a specific new model Janome sewing machine; GUR was one of the relatively few suppliers for whom we were confident the model was in stock, and also offering after-sales service if needed. We ordered on a Sunday evening and received the machine early the following Tuesday - very pleased with the ordering process and the speed of delivery. So far we haven't needed any customer service!

I like many was shopping for early Christmas present, and given a task of getting an overlocker for my wife to go with her sewing machine. Unsure of what I wanted I looked on the internet, I came across GUR in the search pages and contacted them within a day I had an answer to my questions, and placed an order but was out of stock. But they didn’t stop there and was given an answer. I could leave a deposit of when one was available or they said they had an ex display they could supply.
I take them up on there offer and it arrived next day exactly as they said.

GUR e-mailed to advise that the book I had ordered was not yet available, and that there had been issues with the supplier. I had been given the option of either waiting to see if the book came in, or to cancel my order, and get a refund. I chose to get a refund. The customer service was handled efficiently, and the refund was made promptly.

What a great purchase from ordering to receiving the item. The iron is the best thing I’ve bought. Easy to use and doesn’t bleep at me all the time. Heats up in no time al all and the rise and lower feature is fantastic but can also be turned off for normal ironing but I wouldn’t want to. It’s not too heavy but ‘solid’. Highly recommended. I asked if GUR could send by a different courier as the one I use, knows where to find me. (I live in a small village with house names rather than numbers). No problem at all to do that. Kept me informed by email. Would use again if the level of service is this good. Wish more companies treated their customers as good. Phoned up to say thank you already but nice to let other potential customers know my experience. 10/10.

the small thread reals are excellent for my janome sewing machine which I have had along time Somehow i lost the 1 for my machine so ordered 2 as I now have a spare arrived quite quickly very pleased

I ordered from GUR because of the excellent descriptions which meant I felt that I could choose a machine that suits both my requirements and my budget. Next day delivery for free was a huge bonus. I am thoroughly enjoying my new machine and would recommend GUR.

Always good service. A bit expensive for a few plastic bobbins, but it’s not worth taking the risk buying cheaper ones which might not fit my Pfaff machine.
