Ordereds this machine at 12.54 on Tuesday after studying the reviews decided this was the one for me to replace a 40+ old brother machine and a Lidl purchased singer could'nt believe it was delivered next morning at 9.15 brilliant service. The machine was easy to set up and is very similar to the brother machines but cheaper. It is has lovely even stitches can be used with or without the pedal which was a bonus for me as have problems with my foot. So far it is a lovely machine with plenty of stitches and buttonholes which is great can't fault it and the price is excellent.

so happy with my choice. simple to set up and use. Runs quietly light to handle. fantastic for a new or returning to sewing crafter.

Having never used a Janome machine before, I was pleasantly surprised by easy it was to use. I’m an experienced sewer and make bags, and so far it’s copied with all I’ve thrown at it. Even four layers of denim, or vinyl. Need to try out the huge range of stitches next! Overall a good buy!

I purchased the DKS30SE as I wanted a computerised model that was fairly basic. I already own other (Janome) machines that have a large variety of built in stitches and as this machine will be used mainly for dressmaking, patchwork and general sewing, it is perfect. I really like the fact that the stitches are clearly displayed on large buttons and also the foot that is needed. By the press of a button the machine will set stitch width and length but there is the capability to make adjustments. All of the B category feet I have for my Jem Platinum fit the machine. For me, the feature I love the most has to be the thread cutter and the needle threader! This is a fabulous machine and would be ideal for a beginner or an experienced sewist. It has already fit very nicely into my machine collection! 🤓

This is the first time I have used a Jaguar sewing machine , having used Singer for the last 30 years. I can say that the machine looks very well made. I have used it to make a summer dress and have found that each setting I have used has worked very well. It is taking me some practice to get used to the start stop button instead of using the foot pedal, but the fantastic thing is that I have a choice of either. I am finding that the information booklet is good at explaining how to use the embroidery section. I love my new machine, It is going to get better with practice for me, but I cannot fault the machine at all.

After completing university 2 years ago ive been on the search for a “proffesional” or “propper” sewing machine to manage my bridal wear projects! Whilst i own a janome domestic machine and have done for over 10 years i can honestly say nothing compares to the Janome HD9. I would highly reccomend, everything about is so glorious! Having used Juki’s at University (machines built into tables) i was a bit apprehensive about how this machine was going to behave! Its solid, high qaulity and able to complete the tasks at hand with ease! If you want a professional sewing machine which you can transport around (its very heavy though) this is the one for you! Very well suited to my dressmaking needs! And thank you to Gursew for a swift delivery, you guys are Ace! x

I bought this machine from GUR as I have been a client for many years and this is not the first machine I have bought from the Company. This one was a birthday gift for my daughter and will be her first. We were worried that it would not arrive in time since the order was placed just after Christmas but as soon as I had confirmed the order by phone it was prepared and dispatched. I was not sure what model to buy and so I asked and was given very sound advice. I live in Italy and was delighted when the machine arrived in good time for the 11 January birthday. We opened the packaging and examined the machine and changed the power cord connection to Italian standard. We ran the machine for a few minutes and it sounded so sweet! We repacked it and presented it on the day so as yet it is too early to review the performance however, it has many features that my machine does not including the facility to make name tags for our 6 year old grand-daughters school clothing. I am sure it will give great satisfaction! If not - I will swap it for my sturdy old Elna also supplied by GUR about 10 years ago.

A lovely machine: solid, quiet and a great range of stitches. Have made two children's aprons so far and the stitching is super. A very easy machine to use. I haven't sewn for a few years and loved my old, solid machine, this one is a great replacement and upgrade. Highly recommend.

I bought this for my wife who has damaged her foot and can’t use the foot pedal at the moment. I was looking for a cheep machine that she could use without the foot control and came across this machine. It turned out to be a great buy my wife is very pleased with it she is a very experienced machinist making clothes for herself and others. Her verdict is this little machine would be ideal for new and experienced users a little slow for her but she can still do her normal sewing. A great price and excellent delivery.

A great improvement over my old machine. Much quieter and sews smoothly and evenly keeping the tension correct. I have successfully tried the buttonhole function but not tried everything yet.

Amazing value for this wonderful machine. I bought this as an early Christmas gift for my daughter in law who is an avid seamstress. The Black Friday price was too good to miss. She loves it and can't stop raving about it's features. Years ago, my very first machine was a Novum. It seemed to go on for years with no problems. The only reason I sold it on was because I wanted more stitch choices. If this one performs as well as my original old one, I as the buyer, and my daughter in law as the owner, will be more than happy with our choice

I wasn't sure about buying a Janome as I hated one I had before. However the Janome 5060 qdc has all the requirements I need for an extra machine so thought I'd take the risk. I love it! It feels sturdy, and very easy to navigate. The free extention table & quilting foot + bag were a real bonus and customer service excellent as usual. I think I'd even recommend this machine for a serious beginner as there is so much you can do on it. Free motion embroidery is a breeze. The auto needle threader just needs a little practise, and in my experience, gets better and smoother to use over time. Very pleased customer. .thank you GUR sewing machines for a fab buy and service!

The machine was really good value as bought in Black Friday sale and came with really good free items. The bag is of really good quality. The machine is a good weight and should be quite stable in use. The machine has not been used as yet, it is a Christmas present for my 10 year old granddaughter. To be able to get a computerised machine for this price for her to use on her own is fantastic. She loves using my computerised machine but cannot be left with it alone as it was very expensive. Although not as many stitches as my machine the Jaguar has a really good looking selection. A good starter machine for any beginner. Well impressed as yet.

I have bought a great deal from Gur sewing machines from accessories to top of line sewing/embroidery machines. I live in France yet the delivery has been prompt and supplied tracking good. The prices have mostly been unbeatable. I recently purchased the Small Jaguar DQS 405 machine as a gift for my granddaughter and whereas the machine is good for a young beginner I have been very spoilt with my more top end machines and apart from patchwork this particular Machine would never be good for me and the work that I do. Neither would I have paid the full -original price but at special offer it is an excellent purchase. I am now saving up for a Janome M7 machine which for quilting, art quilts, and all general sewing would be my ultimate for a very good sewing machine. At the moment it is beyond my reach but when I can purchase it will be to Gur sewing machines I will purchase from with confidence in their service. I spoke to Palma yesterday about a new item and today I took delivery of my Janome Antelier 6. My old item which is about 20yrs old has no whistles or bells so i was a little worried about being able to use all the different stitches and setting up this new one. I got it straight out of the box and firstly filled a bobbin and put it i, then i threaded the item and used the automatic needle threader. It was a breeze. I sat and tried out some of the lovely applique' stitches and it was all so very easy, the item told me which feet to use for the different tasks, making it ver easy to use. The item sits still and just purrs along. I cant wait to get started on my first quilt. Thank you so much Palma for your help and patience, not once did you pressure me, you answered all my questions politely and patiently. I will recommend GUR and you Palma to anyone that asks and I got the best deal currently available. First class all the way. Well done GUR.

I am very pleased with my sewing machine which as replaced my old Pfaff creative machine.

The machine is wonderful and sews like a Rolls Royce but only cost a mini! Since I received it I have made several tops, dresses and even a bag.

I have called it Erik after the delivery man who arrived exactly when he should have. Many thanks to you all at GUR for encouraging me to buy this model, so far I have not regretted it.

Bought as a gift for my step daughter. Arrived within a few days of ordering. Great deal on machine included quilting extension table. Instruction manual is straight forward and comprehensive. Also included in the kit was a walking foot and a plate to cover the feed dog for free motion embroidery My step daughter is thrilled with her machine, and has already made hats and practiced embroidery using the embroidery foot that came with the gift kit. Can't comment on durability yet but I have told my step daughter if she decides sewing is not her thing I would more than happily adopt her new machine.

Really good speed control with a very responsive foot pedal and also a start/stop button. The stitch selection is pretty impressive for the price.

I love it, it’s so simple to use and it sews exquisitely. For the price, I’m surprised it has plenty of fancy features like the more expensive models such as the speed control, start/stop button and needle up/down. Also worth noting, the delivery was exceptionally quick and the advice I received from GUR was top notch.

Wow what a fantastic machine and superb service! GUR suggested this machine as a suitable sewing and embroidery machine.

I haven’t looked back, since I can do basic sewing, embroidery and quilting all in one place. The stitches are beautiful and a lovely wide range of embroidery designs, I found the threading of the machine quite easy.
 

Considering I’ve never done embroidery before, the instructions make it incredibly simple to get started and to learn new skills.

The delivery was extremely fast (next day) and a well-rounded machine.

I will be shopping with GUR in the near future for any accessories for the machine

Received my Jaguar DQS 405 very promptly a couple of weeks ago. Was pleased with the quality of the build, and the solidness of the case. Having had a couple of weeks now to try it out - the needle threader is fab - my eyesight not what it was. I have done some straight sewing on it and now learning how to use the embroidery stitches. My old machine is at least 30 years old so using a computerised machine rather different but so far so good. Overall very pleased with my purchase and service from GUR.

Completely love this Brother Innovis M280D ! I decided to treat myself to a new machine, but was unsure, so I visited GUR store. Although my sewing talents are quite limited, I do enjoy sewing and making bits and pieces for the family. I wanted to upgrade to a machine that could quilt and with an embroidery function, but was put off by the price and difficulty of some machines. However, the Brother Innovis M280D does it all and more, sewing and embroidery, featuring Disney characters. Despite its wide range of functions and patterns, it is surprisingly straightforward to operate. Within a day or so, I felt completely at ease with it. A great all-in-one model! Topped off with a fantastic service and a great price!

I thought it was time for me to upgrade my Brother Innovis 750e and decided on purchasing the Brother F440e Embroidery machine. I am really pleased with this machine. It has an excellent colour LCD screen as I can see clear all my designs from my USB. I found using this this model very easy as it is exactly the same as the 750e, apart from slight new features. This means I had no extra learning curve to go through. What is more beneficial, the hoops all are interchangeable between the F440e and 750e, so if you previously have the 750e, you won’t need to purchase new hoops. Fantastic machine and brilliant service! Highly recommended!
