Good telephone Customer Service (I spoke to Tramayne) and excellent negotiated price:).

After searching several sites and even speaking to people at the different stores who were absolutely no help I came across GURSewingmachines and what a difference...
From first point of call to final purchase the staff were most polite and helpful and kept in touch even to the delivery which gave me a lot of confidence...not yet had chance to try machine but looking forward to it.
Would definitely recommend this company to anyone and would use this company in the future.

I cannot comment on speed of delivery as I was unfortunately away from home when the well packaged items arrived, although I can confirm that a previous order came swiftly. They were exactly as described and I am pleased with my purchases.

Great service. Really only wanted the foot, but added the other products to get free p&p - but somehow missed that! Don't know what I did wrong. Never mind though.

I was nervous of ordering my machine as its delivery destination was G.B to Spain.
The order was processed proficiently, notification of despatch was assuring and it arrived on the day and time specified, 6 days from order. Perfect and officiant.

I am a student who ordered this machine and would just like to say I am very pleased with it. The service was great and it did not take too long to arrive either. The machine arrived in good condition with all the accessories with it, and it's a very sturdy machine that sews pretty much anything you need it to! Overall excellent product and company, would recommend.

It was very easy to choose and order and my delivery came in only two days - which was wonderful.

I was asked to buy this item for a friend of mine , who is a quilting tutor and her job takes her out into the public, . She commutes via public transport as some places don't have parking etc , and plans to use the trolley to help her get her machine/tools to her destination. To be honest I havnt seen the item myself , but as she has not called and complained as I know her she will be loving her new trolley. As for myself ,as the buyer I cannot praise the quality knowledge and respect that this company has shown me .I am new to quilting/sewing and this company had actually spent considerable amount of time via the telephone advising/helping me to buy the right items for my particular machine and even printed out useful information regarding my purchases , so that I may use them with confidence. This purchase was perfect. The man I spoke to on the phone was exceptionally helpful. The machine was delivered on my chosen day (free) by a lovely cheerful driver only minutes in to the time slot allocated. The free gifts were a lovely addition. I have not yet used the machine. My only question is about the five year guarantee - no documents were enclosed.

I purchased this machine from the shop, altogether a great experience with Gur sewing! Had a demonstration of the machine and everything was explained very well, from set up to use, and I love the Brother machine! Really easy to use and smooth. A bonus is it is pre threaded so you can start overlocking straightaway!
And the the lovely sales manager included 12 bobbins of thread for the overlocker which was a welcome surprise. Thank you!

Ordered this machine at Monday lunchtime and it was delivered early Tuesday afternoon by a very nice delivery man! Can't say better than that!

I got stuck with the 'on-line chat' screen - it was in the way when I tried to order on line & I couldn't remove it, so I phoned instead. Steven was very helpful & processed my order very quickly. Never bought from GUR before. Absolutely delighted with the service and customer support. There was a problem with the courier ( not GUR's fault) and GUR stepped in and sorted it out perfectly. All in all, this is probably the best online retailer I have ever used, for speed of delivery, customer service and negotiability. I ordered two machines and even though they were already discounted more than any other retailer, GUR even knocked some more of the price off.

Take note, Amazon, if you want to get it right you can learn a lot from this company.

I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED AS IT WASNT WHAT I EXPECTED I WAS TOLD TO RETURN IT WITH PROOF OF POSTAGE IT WAS RETURNED BY ROYAL MAIL TRACKED ON THE IST OF FEBRUARY AND WAS REFUNDED ONLY FOR THE ITEM COST OF £17.98 AND POSTAGE I PAID OF £2.50 WAS NOT INCLUDED I WOULD LIKE AN EXPLANATION PLEASE, I WAS QUITE HAPPY TO RETURN IT AT MY COST SO I REALLY DONT SEE WHY THIS COST TO ME WAS NOT REFUNDED.

We do state in our T&C's that we don't refund postage if customers incorrectly order items. We do refund postage on the account that we sent the customer the incorrect item. As you ordered the incorrect item for your needs, unfortunately we wouldn't refund the postage.

Cannot fault this company AT ALL. I have had many dealings with them, from buying machines, to having them serviced, as well buying accessories from them. Their customer service is outstanding, and i would always recommend them to anyone

I have always been more than happy with my dealings with GUR and this transaction continues the experience. The Pfaff clear 1/4inch foot is now part of my kit to excel at patchwork and indeed it is getting me there. Having the correct tools for the job makes ones hobby blissful and GUR is the place to go for all your sewing needs. They also now have lovely fabrics, what more could one ask for.

I found G.U.R. on line whilst looking for a janome supplier. I'd seen the Atelier at a local show.
The service we received at G.U.R. was very engaging and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble. I would highly recommend them.
I had occasion to call G.U.R. because the atelier 5, I puchased and delivered on the next Monday, was faulty. They immediately contacted Janome and they delivered another one the following day. Happy to say that one is performing very well.
All in all I am very happy with the service I experienced and would happily return there again.

I am very pleased with purchase. Ordering was extremely easy, I ordered in the evening on the Wednesday and received my machine on Friday morning. It was well packaged and also some free gifts which are very useful. It's a lovely machine but a considered purchase. I got one text to say it's on it's way. I certainly would recommend this company.

My new Pfaff machine arrived next day as promised, well packaged, out of the box the instructions were easy to follow and it is such a joy to use. It makes everything so much easier and faster, so many stitches and features to explore. It was a pleasure to deal with GUR and they were helpful, prompt and fun!

I always find it very easy to find what I am looking for and the orders are very quickly filled.

This Free Hand Embroider Foot for my small Husqvarna machine is just great.
