Very happy with my Coverstitch machine. It arrived safely within 24 hours of ordering and, despite being an open box purchase , so a discounted price, everything seems brand new and well packaged.

This fabric is of excellent quality. I bought a metre to go with another metre I already had. I’ve made a cover for my grandson for his cot by putting some Soft and Bright batting inside. The fabric is warm and snuggly and has made a lovely lightweight, hard wearing cover. I am very pleased. (just wish I could have bought the flannelette in the red colour way too but it isn’t available)

I purchased the Jaguar 489 Overlocker at end of Nov. Palmer at G.U.R. dealt with my query & the order. Nothing was too much trouble. Palmer is a genuine, knowledgeable gentleman. I ordered it at lunch time and it was swiftly delivered the following morning. This was also the same when I ordered the Jaguar 405 Sewing Machine, previously.
I have no experience of Overlockers at all. After reading up & familiarising myself with the machine, I put knowledge into practice. I initially had a few little teething problems, but I have now altered trousers, my partner thought that was the way I bought them! That is a compliment for first attempt. I love both my Jaguar machines, I wouldn't give them up for anything!

Excellent overlocker.
I ordered the overlocker on a Wednesday evening and it was delivered on Friday afternoon.
It is easy to thread and very quiet in use. I am really pleased with my purchase.

Great overlocker was very pleased said I would never buy one but this is such a good little machine I have 2 brother sewing machines and a Pfaff but thought I never needed a overlocked thought they were very difficult to use but unpacked it and whoopee I made a great sweatshirt in one afternoon.It’s such an easy machine to use and very neat stitching everything you need to know on a CD or you tube very happy with my purchase .

If I could leave a higher rating I would. GUR excelled as always. I wouldn't consider myself a ‘regular’ shopper, I tend to save & then purchase a number of items as my project needs evolve, & pick suppliers as appropriate. Every encounter has been for something quite different, but never ever a disappointment in service. Placed this order to take advantage of excellent sale discounts, knowing that dispatch & post may take quite a while given time of year pressures & strikes etc. GUR delivered & then some. Accessories suppliers for my coverstitcher are not very easy to find but GUR had them all. Same with my overlocker. Full complement of feet options - awesome. Ordering very late on NYE & getting my parcel on the 4th - perfection. Accidentally deleted my invoice email, it was resupplied promptly on request - outstanding. Fantastic no-fuss honest customer service, always one of my favourites. Thank you

This item came quickly and was well packaged. My partner
fitted it to my Janome embroidery machine very easily. It is a godsend, enabling me to choose my five colours for my designs before I start my projects. There is no hassle in threading the colours as I need them and so much quicker to sew/embroider as they are to hand. This is the best attachment that has been bought for my machines.

Great service, fast despatch of my order.
I’m thrilled with this machine so far and have made multiple garments on it in stretch fabrics. It’s easy to use and to thread using the self threading mechanism, no more eye strain! There is a GUR video on the threading mechanism and I managed to do it first time. The machine feels sturdy and of good quality and was great value for money in the sale.
The description doesn’t mention that it comes with a hard case which is excellent.

This was a Christmas present for my daughter. I was concerned it would get delayed in the postal strikes but delivery was very fast and efficient.

Ordered online having been able to find exactly the right foot for my Atelier 9. Dispatched very promptly. Got caught in the Christmas post, but arrived in very good time. Pressed into service on arrival to making pillow case piping for floating headboard. Great price and great service.

It was so nice to be able to order genuine Janome parts, there are so many choices online it was a struggle to get the replacement foot I needed, luckily somebody recommended GUR and I am glad. I would certainly pass on the recommendation.

Loving the iron it does everything I wanted and best price online. Order was shipped on time for next day delivery on Friday, but carrier let you down with constant delays so item not received until Monday. Not your fault but very frustrating. Would order from you again.

The product is fine, the issue is with delivery times and the vendors not being upfront about any delays. The embroidery hoop took 3 weeks to arrive, I missed a deadline to complete something but would have understood if at the time of ordering GUR had said they were out of stock or there was a delay. When I enquired GUR replied telling me my item would be dispatched that day, however it was another 3 days before it was sent, by second class mail, possibly then getting caught up in the postal strike.
I am disappointed, not with the product but feel that GUR could have been a bit more open about delivery times on the website , and honest in their emails.

Excellent service. I needed some technical advice prior to purchasing this item. I contacted GUR customer support who were very obliging and helpful but didn't have the answer to my query. They got straight on to Brother and I had my answer by the end of the day. This item was part of the Back Friday sales and I was pleased to get it at a very good price. I ordered that day and it arrived at my address the following day. I could not be more pleased with my experience and would highly recommend this company. Thank you.

Always prompt and polite replies when contacted. Goods as ordered. Delivery with Royal Mail a problem due to strikes but this is not GUR’s fault. Perhaps consider a different delivery company during strikes?

The staff at GUR are friendly and very helpful. My beautiful new machine arrived within a couple of days (as I ordered at the weekend) it was packaged well instructions simple and easy to understand. I would highly recommend this company the machine is excellent for beginners and more advanced users. Have made all my table linen for Christmas since it’s arrival very happy customer.

I have purchased a few items from GUR, which have always been sent speedily. I have had absolutely no problem. In fact I do look to see if GUR offer that item for sale as I find that their pricing is generally very keen as well as offering a speedy service. I did ring them on one occasion, for advice, which was given freely and helpfully by the person I spoke to. I would recommend GUR as in my experience they do offer good service, and good value, thank you GUR for being so reliable.

I am so glad I found you on the internet. I find it almost impossible to thread the needle on my machine and was devastated when my needle threader broke on my Janome machine. I ordered an expensive sewing table from GUR. The delivery time was meant to be 4 weeks. They let me know that the manufacturer was running two weeks late and it would be 6 weeks before my table was delivered. Very unexpectedly I was offered a full refund to my credit card, with payment not being taken until the manufacturer phoned me with a delivery date. Brilliant service ! Would definitely use GUR again.

I’m always assured I can get the necessary replacement parts and accessories for my old but largely trustworthy overlocker. Delivery is speedy too. Thank you GUR.

Top marks as far as the machine ect. This is the second machine I have bought from this company. A Janome sewing machine last time that is the whole reason I bought the overlocker from them. Very easy to work the Elna and easy to change from Overlock to roll hem and other options. Will be back for more purchases in the future.

Excellent quality product at a great price.
Sometimes I try and iron too quickly, but this is just me getting used to a new way of ironing.

I'm very pleased with my sewing machine bag. The bag is made of sturdy material and definitely strong enough to carry my machine. It is roomy and has a pocket at the front to carry all the electrics, could even carry more accessories as well. I love the nice bright colour too. Would highly recommend it.

I love love love this machine! I've been using Janome for some years and was wanting to upgrade for quite a while now. For me having little things like auto thread cutter, locking stitch etc is a game changer and at long last I can now do a decent button hole!!!
The 5060 QDC is very easy to use. It comes with various feet,spool caps etc and very comprehensive instructions. This is my first digital sewing machine and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to venture out into the digital sewing machine world.

I received a very quick reply when I emailed the company regarding delivery date and they kindly changed the delivery so that I could receive it when I would be home. My order was really well packaged and arrived safely and in great condition. The overlocker was threaded up and ready to go, which was a bonus as I’ve never used one before. I am sorry to say the order didn’t arrive. I think this was unfortunately due to there not being a Customs Code on the packet. I would have needed to pay duty on the items as they were coming from UK. It is a sign of the times we live in and I am so disappointed that delivery was not possible. Having said that, any dealings I had with you were brilliant. speedy,response, great communication. Would 100% recommend your company.
