I am loving my new sewing machine. I recently started dressmaking and decided it was time to upgrade my old sewing machine. I chose this one after using it at a local sewing class. It was so quiet, easy to use and had all the functions I could possibly need and a few more too. After looking around I found GUR was selling them cheaper than anywhere else. I was particularly impressed with the speed and efficiency of the ordering process. I ordered my machine late one afternoon and received it the following day. It has been a great experience all round.

Although I ordered an 'open box< machine, I was upgraded to a brand new sealed one at no extra charge.

Ordering my overlocking machine was very easy and I had excellent service when I made a quick enquiry on the phone. My well packaged machine arrived the next day so I can only say I was very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to use GUR Sowing Superstore for anything that I may need in the future.

I worried about ordering this coverstitch, a) because I hadn't used this company before. And b) I had never heard of Gritzner machines.
The coverstitch was less than half the price of the cheap coverstich machines and you usually get what you pay for.. I researched gritzner and realised the company had been bought out by Pfaff years ago, who were obviously using the name as budget entry model.

Ordered online and paid via my phone Gpay. Delivered at lunchtime the following day.

The Coverstitch does everything I want it to once I got used to the different way of sewing. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended 👌

Very helpful on the phone with any queries and great to think I deal direct with GUR should there be any problems. After much deliberation, I bought a Brother Inov-is A50 from GUR Sewing Machines which fitted my price bracket and necessary features.

The machine arrived after just a few days - (I had placed the oder on a Friday evening).
It was well packaged and came with a quilting kit as a free gift, worth a considerable amount if buying separately

I am delighted with the machine which is easy to use, stitches evenly and has a comprehensive choice of facilities including decorative stitches and an automatic buttonhole maker.
All in all an excellent and easy purchase from an excellent supplier that I would recommend and use again for other equipment.

Really easy to use and gives you a professional finish. The manual is also very helpful and has clear instructions. It is a sturdy machine. I mainly used it on delicate fabrics so far and with those it works perfectly. Delivery was also very quick, I am happy with my purchase.

I made a mistake creating an account. I emailed GUR in the evening and then rang the next morning. The employee I spoke to was already working on my query and within 5 minuets had sorted it for. He was polite efficient and helpful.

I am very pleased with this machine. The instructions are so easy to follow as they are clearly written in simple language with plenty of pictures and diagrams. The machine itself appears to be a quality build. It is very easy to use and thread, it sews beautifully, it is easy to control the speed too. While sewing it is not too noisy.
I recommend this machine as it is a pleasure to use and I look forward to many years of use.

Having taken the decision to purchase an overlocker I did my research and plumped for the brother 4234d. I have been having a fabulous time, making professional looking garments and a faux fur animal rug for my grandson. The machine has been easy to thread and has handled difficult materials with ease. Great machine! Comes already loaded with 4 reels of cotton and sample of stitching. Therefore it's easy to test the stitching instantly. Tested only on woven cotton material so far but the stitching is perfect, I have had a combo in the past (Babylock Evolve) until the air threading button snapped. This is a nice looking machine and good value compared to Brother and Janome which only do similar stitches. Additionally, it's a nice looking machine so fully recommend.

I am very happy with the service I have received from GUR, this Brother overlocker is a great piece of equipment, and GUR was the best price out there, I also reached a free overlocker bag and was offered reduced price on extra feet available for the machine. The deliver was prompt and well packaged. A couple of the extra items I ordered were out of stock but I received regular emails keeping me updated and offering a refund if I did not want to wait. All in all excellent customer service and pricing. Would buy from again.

GUR was the cheapest site I could find this overlocker, and as a bonus there was a free gift and free delivery. Ordering was simple. The machine arrived on the Tuesday (after ordering on the Saturday). Well packaged. Got set up and running very quickly. Very happy with it so far.

Well, what can I say, ordered the Overlock at 14.03 pm on Thursday, 29th June, 2023 and it was with me at 9.50 a.m. on Friday, 30th June, 2023 and up and running by 10.30 a.m. finishing jobs as my other machine is sadly out of service. The 2104 is a nice compact machine and it runs extremely smooth. I am hoping we can become good friends in no time. Excellent service GUR and Parcelforce. Hope to do more business in the future. Fantastic customer service.
My original order didn't arrive (something to do with Royal Mail), but as soon as I notified GUR they sent out a replacement order immediately which arrived in a few days. It was so nice to get such a prompt and positive response from them.

I have to say I received an excellent service when I purchased a sewing machine from GUR. Being unfamiliar with modern machines I had a problem threading it and a lovely man called Palma video called me to show me the process. He was clearly familiar with all the machines and so helpful and friendly. I don't think you could have asked for a better service than that after buying online and it was such a refreshing change to deal with someone who knew their products so well.

Very easy to order and was delivered within 24 hours. The machine comes ready threaded but is super easy to thread, if needed. It is much quieter than my previous overlocker. Would recommend both GUR and this machine.

The customer service has been excellent. From the the first phone call letting them know of the issue, the problem solving while I was in the phone to save needing to take the machine away.
When that didn’t solve the issue, the next day collection of my machine. I received a phone call letting me know the issue and, because the issue was not repairable, I was sent a brand new machine the very next day.
