I ordered a pair of shoulder pads and was pleased with the prompt delivery. The shoulder pads appear to be of good quality, but I had ordered 'large' shoulder pads as I am making a coat and these are not really my idea of large.

Ordering was easy with freebies included delivery was on time and well packaged, a wonderful piece of machinery not used it properly yet but Ive got a lot of projects lined up all I need now is material

My order arrived really quickly, on the day it was expected. I had a problem as the Instruction Manual for the Overlocker I had purchased was missing. I telephoned and spoke to a very helpful young man who said he would sort it out and some-one would phone me. As promised, I received a phone call within about 20 minutes and a Manual was posted out to me, plus a PDF version was emailed as well so I was not held up.

I recently bought a Janome 603 and although the patchwork foot is quite satisfactory I also needed one with 1/4" and 1/8" and the Brother range had one. Staff at GUR were most helpful and tried the foot on the machine to make sure it fitted.

I was looking for a machine which was light enough, but at the same time robust enough to take to Workshops. Several of my group have various models of Janome and although I was used to a Bernina, there were the definite advantages of weight with the Janome. I decided on the 603, which had lots of stitches, yet was the same weight as the 601. As I needed different buttonhole stitches for Applique, and the 603 was also on offer with a free Quilting Kit, I decided on this model.

I am very pleased with the machine, and consider it good value for money and the staff at GUR have been helpful and courteous.

I would have liked Billy to have been sent in the package too! What a charming, professional manner and so nice to still be able to get good old fashioned service. The machine is fantastic, when I first saw it I was frightened to even turn it on as the handbook alone is about an inch thick ! However when you get started on this machine it is so easy to navigate, quickly alerts to any errors, such as a thread break. I am so glad it has been raining for days as I can "play" for hours on my new toy. Thank you so much for your help, service and information, you are an excellent company to deal with.

I was impressed with the speed of delivery but had to ring up to check the order had been processed because I didn't receive confirmation. I was told there is a problem with gmail & it was in my junk box.

Bought a new Pfaff 1132 sewing machine online.

As there would be additional delivery time of a day or two because the machine came from Germany, G.U.R. immediately telephoned me to check if it was OK - excellent customer service.

My order arrived very quickly, everything was complete.
I have one issue- I had to phone Customer Services after making my on-line order because an on-line 5% discount failed to apply. During my conversation I confirmed my order. This included, amongst other things, two packs of 5 Embellisher needles. I did not realise that they could be ordered much more cheaply as a pack of ten. As I was sent one small wrap of ten needles anyway, it would have been helpful to have been advised that I could purchase them more cheaply.
