I was looking for a machine which was light enough, but at the same time robust enough to take to Workshops. Several of my group have various models of Janome and although I was used to a Bernina, there were the definite advantages of weight with the Janome. I decided on the 603, which had lots of stitches, yet was the same weight as the 601. As I needed different buttonhole stitches for Applique, and the 603 was also on offer with a free Quilting Kit, I decided on this model.

I am very pleased with the machine, and consider it good value for money and the staff at GUR have been helpful and courteous.

I would have liked Billy to have been sent in the package too! What a charming, professional manner and so nice to still be able to get good old fashioned service. The machine is fantastic, when I first saw it I was frightened to even turn it on as the handbook alone is about an inch thick ! However when you get started on this machine it is so easy to navigate, quickly alerts to any errors, such as a thread break. I am so glad it has been raining for days as I can "play" for hours on my new toy. Thank you so much for your help, service and information, you are an excellent company to deal with.

I was impressed with the speed of delivery but had to ring up to check the order had been processed because I didn't receive confirmation. I was told there is a problem with gmail & it was in my junk box.

Bought a new Pfaff 1132 sewing machine online.

As there would be additional delivery time of a day or two because the machine came from Germany, G.U.R. immediately telephoned me to check if it was OK - excellent customer service.

I would not hesitate to use the G.U.R. again.

So far everything seems to working out OK - I did end up ordering 2 x SQ14 hoops and I have had an email saying they are waiting on stock, so I am still waiting on my order, as I elected to wait for everything to be available before I get any of my order. That is a bit dangerous as it makes it tempting to add the order.

My order arrived very quickly, everything was complete.
I have one issue- I had to phone Customer Services after making my on-line order because an on-line 5% discount failed to apply. During my conversation I confirmed my order. This included, amongst other things, two packs of 5 Embellisher needles. I did not realise that they could be ordered much more cheaply as a pack of ten. As I was sent one small wrap of ten needles anyway, it would have been helpful to have been advised that I could purchase them more cheaply.

This firm was the only one, in this country, that had the button holer and they supplied it, P&P free, the day after I paid for it.
I was also able to use Paypal to pay for the item, so I had no worries about the payment.

Very quick service. Ordered a new filter cartridge and a replacement cover. Wouldnt be without my Pfaff.

My experience as a customer with G.U.R. sewing machines was a pleasant one and good service but as customer visiting it was an even better one. All staff were pleasant, courteous, and helpful. showing machines was no problem, even when boss, was busy with customer. He also made myself and my sister how the flower foot worked before purchased and promised full refund if not 100% happy. I would definitely shop there again. all they room full of busy computer staff were also pleasant and polite, could I say more. Unfortunately I only wanted machine needles this time but looking to purchasing a machine in the future from G.U.R. and will be visiting to see what I want.
