Hi I purchased a Brother 2100 sewing machine and was delighted with the speedy delivery and that it arrived in the 1 hour time slot as promised. I am an inexperienced seamstress and so was pleased with the ease of threading up etc. I have yet to try out anything other than basic stitching.

It's good to have a real person on the end of your phone - the net is very convenient, but having personal help makes the difference - if not I would have done business with a more local shop, even though the price was higher. The service from GUR is excellent, very friendly and machine arrived in 24hrs. I bought the Pfaff select 4 last week 12 July and i am over the moon with it, it is a true work horse! Its very fast and sews over thick wadding at 6oz!! Wish i da bought it sooner. Saving up now to buy the ruffler attatchmnet and will consider this site again. Thanks Jeanette x

I ordered wadding on a Tuesday for use on the following Monday. I contacted GUR to check if it would arrive on time. They chased up the order and it arrived on Saturday. It is now in my quilt. I would recommend their customer service and the competitive price of the wadding.

Briliant service from start to finish. Ordered at 3:30 thursday and it arrived 11:25 on Friday! The machine, a Brother Inov-is 10A is wonderful and puts most other domestic machines i have used to shame. The fast efficient service and communications i received from G.U.R and the courier were second to none! Definitely one to recommend!

Ordered some sewing machine needles late on Thursday evening, they arrived on Monday morning. Was kept informed by email of the parcels progress. Exceptionally good service

I orrdered my Brother BC2100 sewing machine on the 28th of May and it finally arrived on Monday the 21st of June, it was delayed due to it being named on the Which.co.uk website as one of their best buys, the shop did email to say there was a delay and enclosed a 10% discount card with the machine when they finally got them in for postage to the customers. I am very happy with my purchase and the price I received it from GUR was fantastic compared to other retailers. I would use this company again.
